Emily Hirsch is a singer, songwriter, actress based out of Tampa, Florida. She is a current student at Hillsborough County Community College with a passion for song writing and singing. Emily’s love for music was inspired by her family who have all worked hard to live their dreams. Her father, Larry Hirsch, was a play-by-play broadcaster for the NHL, while her mother worked as a fashion buyer in Madison Square Garde. Emily also has and older sister who works in sports media for Major League baseball and is also a freelance broadcaster for the Ivy League Network. To say the least, both children were encourage to live their dreams just like their parents did.
Emily’s inspiration came from strong female singer and songwriters in Barbra Streisand and Carol King. These strong role models also gave Emily the drive to pursue musical theatre as well. Her amazing script reading skills, on stage talent and powerful Soprano voice was on display is plays such as Beauty and the Beast, and Fiddler on the Roof.
However, it wasn’t until her sophomore year of high school when she not only found a love for songwriting, but also started co writing music with her vocal teacher David Camden. Hirsch and Camden have produced over three songs together, while recording three in studios in both Tampa, FL and Nashville, Tennessee. Emily’s latest single, “We are Wild,” was just recently released as well as her other two singles, “Faded Memory,” and “Always Be.” Hirsch is currently in the process of producing more music with Camden, and is excited about what her future holds for her. As a young and aspiring musician, Emily believes that if you work hard enough and believe in yourself, anything is possible and she will continue to do everything she can to make her dreams a reality.
