ARASTELLA is an aspiring pop vocalist attributed with her resounding voice and prolific songwriting. Her bright attitude and commanding voice deliver an unmatched message to those who hear. She is an artist who embraces the meaning of being ever-evolving and wants to share that passion.
“Music is a language like any other, spoken to the heart and mind. People in all walks of life and any culture, relate to it—it’s timeless.”
ARASTELLA realized her gift of song at an early age and accepted a position in a premiere children’s chorus in Southern California. She also performed in several musicals, such as “A Time to Stand” and “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”.
Later, ARASTELLA found herself in Houston, devoting numerous hours to practicing classical voice. “I had to learn opera merely because it was so alien to me. Beautiful, but alien and because it was so different, I found it more attractive. After school, I often worked alone in practice rooms…just the janitors and myself left in those halls. I’ve always been driven to better my instrument and share it with everyone.”
As far as musical institutions, ARASTELLA attended the New England Conservatory, in Boston, and the Moores School of Music, in Houston. After years of focused vocal study, ARASTELLA’s urge to be malleable arose again. While in and out of classical studies, she began to incorporate strong elements of R&B, hip-hop, and jazz. This unique blending of musical genres is influenced by artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Celine Dion, David Bowie, OutKast, Jeff Buckley, and Patsy Cline, to name a few.
ARASTELLA is a musician that finds little comfort in stylistic bounds and she shares this vision with her resounding gift of song. With an infusion of ARASTELLA’s naturally poignant voice, heartrending lyrics, and intricate beats, her music is nothing short of hypnotic.
