Tell us about your music career, your band name, musical background, experience and skills.

I started writing music at a young age. It all started sometime after I learned how to play the drums at the age of 9. From then on music became to impact me; without realizing I began to understand rhythm more & more & after the age of 13 I decided to start writing. Thanks to poetry & creative writing classes I was able to learn how to express myself without holding back.

.

Tell us about your genre, concept and idea behind your music video and the song.

I write Hip-Hop/Rap music & the goal has always been to innovate the sound. The concept/idea behind my most recent track “The Takedown” was to express the ability to switch & alternate different flows on a song with a radio play feel.

.

Tell us everything that we need to know about you as a musician and the ups and downs you have faced in the music business.

As an Artist/Songwriter you can face a lot of adversity but it’s all about how you stand against it. You see, no mater what you do on life we will always be faced with adversity. My experience with the music industry is this; patience, determination, & persistence can make you outshine anyone around you. I’ve faced my adversity & continue to battle through it everyday but keeping balance & staying patient, determined, & persistent can really bring the greatness out of ya. Stay Passionate. #NeverSettleIn.

Tell us about other members of your band, music producer, crew or music video director, how the song was recorded and how the music video was shot.

All of my tracks are mixed, mastered, & recorded at Grey Beard Recording Studios. Shout out to my man Monty, I met him sometime early in 2017 & since then we’ve recorded & mastered numerous songs. I’m not affiliated with any group so at the moment I am just a solo artist.

.

.

.

Tell us how long you have been in the music industry, your experience and your future goal.

All in all, I’ve been writing music for about 12 years & I must say practice makes perfect. Whether it is 30 minutes or 5 hours, taking the time out of everyday to perfect the craft makes you better everyday. Never stop evolving, always adapt to styles because Hip-Hop culture is always on the move & changing. My future goal isn’t to be famous, but to touch the lives of people & make an impact on them by the words I put down. Always be humble.

.

.

.

Tell us what inspires you to write, compose and sing.

A lot of factors play in when it comes down to what inspires me to write; however, the people I surround myself with, my family, my ambitions, friends, vision, etc. that all plays a role in my drive. Being able to express myself without holding back is good feeling & I credit myself on practicing. The love & passion I have for music grows more & more with each day.

.

Tell us the secret behind making a hit song.

There’s no secret to making a hit song. Your energy says a lot, if you bring the right energy into whatever you do, greatness can come out of it.

.

.

.

Tell us the message you will like to pass to your fans out there.

One message I’d like to pass to people & fans out there is this: support each others dreams, always show love to one another, be humble, count your blessings, & never sell yourself short. It’s crazy the things you are capable of doing when you believe in yourself.

.

.

.

Tell the kind of advice you will give to an upcoming artist.

The advice I’d like to give to other artists is that you gotta stay resilient. People are gonna not wanna see you succeed & it’s OK. Prove them wrong, better yourself everyday. Trust in the process through the progress.

.

.

.

Elaborate on your music careers, albums, songs, tours, recognition or awards you might have obtained.

At the moment I don’t have any albums or mixtapes out, but my music is on YouTube & SoundCloud. The album/tape is in the works tho that’s all I can say. Gotta keep the schemes low key, never tell them your next move.

.

.

.

List Radio or TV Stations that are airing your songs and blogs that have featured you as well and send message to them via this platform.

Big shout out to A Night In The Six (Toronto) for being the first to put my music on a blog. Other than that BroadTube has given me the opportunity to be featured as well & for that I’m grateful.

.

.

.

Tell us how you write your lyrics, compose, sing and record in the studio.

How do I write, compose, sing, & record in the studio? That’s easy, I block out the static. Any distractions, I cut them out. See when I’m in the studio it’s like a vacation. Everything in the outside world feels like it stops. Cut off the distraction & I promise your conscience will be clarified.

.

.

.

Name five biggest artists that you look up to like idols.

I’ve been waiting to answer this question about my top 5 haha but it goes as follows: 1-Nas 2-Biggie 3-Tupac 4-Eminem 5-Kendrick Lamar

.

.

.

Name the artists you have collaborated with before in your songs or artists you are willing to collaborate with in the future if you have the chance to do so.

I am yet to make any songs with a feature but I am not opposed to it. If I could work with any artist out there it would have to be J. Cole the dude is so humble & there’s a lot of pin points in his music that I myself can relate to.
