Tell us about your music career, your band name, musical background, experience and skills.

My father is a musician as well and he has his own studio in Sao Paulo. I grew up in his studio more or less, always surrounded by music and musicians. At the age of 15 I was asked by Disney to produce music for them and I also made some themes for a few Disney movies. Later I had my own TV show at Disney together with Mayra which was called ‘College 11’. At the age 8 I started to play the guitar and piano and when I was 13 I started my first rock band. Producing in the studio came natural to me because I was there almost night and day and I taught myself how to use all the equipment.

Tell us about your genre, concept and idea behind your music video and the song.

I don’t like to label music in genres because I am open to all kinds of music. The lyrics and the vibe of Road to me are all about having fun and spending time with friends. This is what I wanted to bring into the video and I think we succeeded!

.

.

.

Tell us everything that we need to know about you as a musician and the ups and downs you have faced in the music business.

I already have a long career in the music industry and I always look forward and never look back. As any other artist I faced some difficult times but the way I see it this is part of the process and getting more professional.

.

.

.

Tell us about other members of your band, music producer, crew or music video director, how the song was recorded and how the music video was shot.

Being in the studio with Timbaland was a dream come true for me. Most of the track was recorded in LA at the Westlake Studios. This was also something amazing because Michael Jackson recorded his albums Thriller and Bad in this studio. The video is based on the lyrics and the vibe of the track, having a good time with friends.

.

.

Tell us how long you have been in the music industry, your experience and your future goal.

I started playing instruments when I was 8 years old and got my first record deal with Disney when I was 15. To be honest, I don’t have a specific goal for the future, I just want to make music!

.

.

Tell us what inspires you to write, compose and sing.

The moment I am in the studio the music just comes naturally to me.

I don’t think there is a secret behind making a hit song. But I do think it all starts with producing music that you believe in.

Being asked by Timbaland to make some tracks together is for sure an award in itself. The success of Hear Me Now brought a lot of attention and recognition for which I am very grateful.
