Tell us your real names, country of birth, date of birth and childhood experience.
Linda Karlsberg, lead vocals, Richard Öhrn, guitar and vocals, Marcus Segersvärd, drums and vocals. All three members of In Deed were born in Sweden during the seventies. Growing up in Sweden gives you a lot of cool childhood experience like going for a ride in the parents’ car, with no seat-belts on. In fact there were no seat  belts in the back of the cars in those days 🙂

Tell us about your music career, your band name, musical background, experience and skills.
The band got started during the student years in Uppsala, Sweden. Linda came across a guitar, a cheaper model, which she bought via mail order. She quickly realized that it was quite difficult to take out chords to other people’s songs, so instead Linda started writing her own. She got about ten songs together and decided to scan interest within Uppsala’s music circles.

Linda probably had like an ounce of luck that her note in the student library was read and that she got a call from a guy, who later came to play Hammond organ with In Deed for several years.

Tell us about your genre, concept and idea behind your music video and the song.
In Deed play Power indie pop rock with melodies and attitude. The song “What Once Was” is the first track on the album Everest, released October 2017. There isn’t really a music video to this track. The song speaks for it self  (smile).

Tell us about other members of your band, music producer, crew or music video director, how the song was recorded and how the music video was shot.
On the track “What Once Was” is produced by Hans Olsson Brookes, one of Sweden’s finest! The track was first recorded some years ago as well just last summer. In Deed like to take it slow and easy :).

Tell us how long you have been in the music industry, your experience and your future goal.

Tell us what inspires you to write, compose and sing.
New strings for the guitar can be inspiring … or having a hangover. Emotional extremes in both directions are often a good breeding ground. It’s hard to control, but we think darkness comes with a lot of creativity, but you also need the positive energy to accomplish something concrete. The hard work.
