All band members are veteran musicians who have played in a variety of bands.  Styles liked and played are everything from jazz, to rock to prog and punk.  The band is The Grey Agents.

Tell us about your genre, concept and idea behind your music video and the song.

The song is about the 1931 serial murders in Quiet Dell, West Virginia, USA.  Harry Powers put out lonely hearts ads and married widows and took their money and killed them.  The band went back to the site of the murder farm to shoot the video.

The band faces the challenges of being an original band in small town West Virginia and releasing their own CDs.

Tell us about other members of your band, music producer, crew or music video director, how the song was recorded and how the music video was shot.

The song was recorded at songwriter Brian Cottrill’s home studio about one mile from the murder farm.  Daniel Raines used his skill as a photographer to shoot the video with help from Anita Cottrill.  Keyboardist Davin Seamon created the string arrangements and orchestral parts to create an epic feel.

While the musicians are veteran musicians with many years of experience, the band is three years young and has only released one CD. The critical reviews of the first album were very positive.

Brian Cottrill and John Farmer write most of the songs. Sometimes the whole band writes together.  Most songs are recorded live in the studio with 3-5 band members playing live at the same time.
