Tell us about your music career, your band name, musical background, experience and skills.

My artist name is my first name, Pedram. I started writing songs in high school back when I lived in Los Angeles. After years of practicing, I started recording in a studio in Stockholm, Sweden. I eventually released my first EP “Quality Over Quantity” with my best friend ObJ.
This led to a TV documentary on Swedish television channel, “SVT”. The documentary is filmed during our last year in high school and it also shows our graduation. Our documentary is called “Suomalainen like mummi”. Eventually I began recording solo which led to my debut single called “Come To Me”.

Tell us about your genre, concept and idea behind your music video and the song.
I make different types of music which you can clearly hear in my EP and my single. My main genre is dance-hall influenced hip hop. The idea behind my single is simply to make people happy and energetic. I make music for the people.

Tell us everything that we need to know about you as a musician and the ups and downs you have faced in the music business.
The downs are always there. No one will help you unless you help them back. You have to get everything done by yourself. The only person that can limit your success is yourself. There has been days when I have been discouraged by not getting my music heard since I’m an independent artist.

The ups keep me going everyday. I will never give up until I make enough music for people to enjoy for years. That is my motivation. Seeing my first EP on the number one TV channel in Sweden motivates me. Hearing people say wonderful things about my music motivates me. I have the power to put smiles on peoples’ faces and therefore I’m blessed.

Tell us how long you have been in the music industry, your experience and your future goal.
I’ve been making music for 9 years. The hours I put into making music has paid off with my ability to make enjoyable music for the listeners. That’s all that matters. My goal is to keep making great tracks for people to love and enjoy. I’m also planning on having a couple of Grammy by 2020 like I said on the first track off of my EP called “Trippin'”. This is only the beginning of my long career.

.

Tell us what inspires you to write, compose and sing.

The listeners inspire me. There is no better feeling than seeing someone smile from listening to your music. The thought of being on stage and performing in front of thousands of fans who love the music I make for their enjoyment is out of this world.

.

.

.

Tell us the secret behind making a hit song.

The secret is to go after what people want to hear. You can figure out what’s popular today in your specific genre of music you create and try to make your own sound off of that hype. You can never make everyone happy but you can try to make the majority happy. That is the key.

.

.

.

Tell us the message you will like to pass to your fans out there.

I do this for my fans. I will make sure my listeners stay happy from my music and always look forward to hearing more. They mean the world to me and I appreciate every single one of them for taking their time to listen to the music I make.

.

.

Tell the kind of advice you will give to an upcoming artist.

Hard work always beats talent. Work hard and never give up. No one can stop you unless you stop yourself. If you are talented but need to motivate yourself to make music then this isn’t for you. However, if you have the passion to create music without forcing yourself to getting it done then you will come very far. Basically hard work pays off.

.

Elaborate on your music careers, albums, songs, tours, recognition or awards you might have obtained.

So far I’ve released my EP “Quality Over Quantity” which is available for free on datpiff, and of course my debut single “Come To Me”.

Tell us how you write your lyrics, compose, sing and record in the studio.

I come up with ideas anywhere I am constantly and write them down. Then I memorize my lyrics and record them because you will sound cleaner if you know your lyrics fluently and have practiced on them.

Tell us how you will spend a million dollars.

Build my own studio where I can live. The rest goes to my family and to less fortunate people who are in need of money to survive. I would walk up to them and hand over my money personally. This is something I dream of doing and I will.
