Real name is Luke Forester, born USA 8/21/95. I grew up with an audio engineer dad and my mom owned a dance studio.

Tell us about your music career, your band name, musical background, experience and skills.

I have written a lot of songs for Disney Channel Poland artist Sylvia Lipka, our first collaboration went #1 at youth pop radio, displacing Justin Bieber’s “Sorry.” I learned to write in my god father’s songwriting class from when I was 12 to 17, and I study voice with Don Lawrence [Lady Gaga, Bono, Christina Aguilera].

Tell us about your genre, concept and idea behind your music video and the song.

I always wanted to do pop music, but not in the same way everyone else does. I know exactly what I want to talk about. It’s real life and the subjects people often shy away from. Not a lot of guys in the genre have vulnerable moments. I include those moments and discuss my journey of discovery, heartbreak, and finding true friendship. For me, there’s a message.

.

.

.

Tell us everything that we need to know about you as a musician and the ups and downs you have faced in the music business.

I’ve had #1 hits and millions of streams on the song’s I’ve written, a lot of quantitative success, but my most rewarding experience in music has been writing songs to sing myself, not for other artists. I’ve had to dive deep and really explore who I am and what made me, me.

.

.

.

Tell us about other members of your band, music producer, crew or music video director, how the song was recorded and how the music video was shot.

I collaborated on the song and production with Roc Nation duo A+A. I love working with them because they have a great pop sense, but they’re not afraid to break the rules, their creativity in the studio is so inspiring.

.

.

.

Tell us how long you have been in the music industry, your experience and your future goal.

I got my first cut as a songwriter when I was 19, but I have been writing since I was 12. I want to change perceptions. When you listen to me, I’d love for you to see it’s okay to be complicated. You don’t have to oversimplify your emotions. My biggest dream is to have fans who take kindness seriously and bring it into the world and not just leave it at the concert

.

.

.

.

Tell us what inspires you to write, compose and sing.

I truly write about my life — growing up in the suburbs of New York, the culture around me, and my friends

.

.

.

Tell us the secret behind making a hit song.

This is not my quote, but I believe it to be true, you have to say what somebody is feeling better than they can say it themselves. If you can do that, everybody will connect to the song.

.

.

.

Tell us the message you will like to pass to your fans out there.

I want my fans to truly be a friend to themselves, ask yourself, would you tell your best friend the negative things that you tell yourself? Or do you look for the beauty in who they are?

.

.

.

Tell the kind of advice you will give to an upcoming artist.

As an upcoming artist myself I don’t have much advice to offer, but I know the music itself has to be something you’re so proud of and that is so true to you that no amount of rejection from the industry will make you question yourself as an artist.

.

.

.

Elaborate on your music careers, albums, songs, tours, recognition or awards you might have obtained.

It’s been really cool to write for Sylvia Lipka and see her fans really connect to the songs, it’s still crazy to think that one of my songs has been played 2 million times!

List Radio or TV Stations that are airing your songs and blogs that have featured you as well and send message to them via this platform.

No radio or TV yet, this is a soft launch and we’re starting with blogs. College radio in the US will be playing the song soon.

.

.

.

Tell us how you write your lyrics, compose, sing and record in the studio.

I keep a list of titles and concepts, any time I have an idea I write it down for later . The line “I will be your Anthem” had been on my phone for years, I knew it was special, and I was waiting until I was ready to write that song.

Name five biggest artists that you like.

Tove Lo, Jack Antonoff, Bebe Rexha, Billie Eilish and Phoebe Ryan.

.

.

.

Name the artists you have collaborated with before in your songs or artists you are willing to collaborate with in the future if you have the chance to do so.

I have an upcoming collaboration with DJ Duo LA Riots that I’m super excited about! Brooke Williams is the girl in the background on “Anthem,” we’ve known each other for years and written a ton together, her artist project is really starting to take off and I’m super excited for her.

Tell us about your happiest day and saddest day.

Honestly, releasing “Anthem” is one of my happiest days. This song is so close to my heart and special to me and it feels so good to tell that story to the world.

.

.

.

Tell us how you will spend a million dollars.

If I had a million dollars, I would really like to put a down payment on a house for my parents so they don’t have to rent forever, they have been supportive of me in every way and I want to take care of them. I’d also like to donate the rest to charities supporting queer youth and protecting the environment.
