Tell us about your music career, your band name, musical background, experience and skills.
Our group is called Base36. We met each other in our high school music production class, where we realized we shared the same passion in music. The three of us started off as just producers and continued to grow in that category. Eventually, after high school, we created a little studio in Havik’s basement, where we would start rapping and singing.

.

Tell us about your genre, concept and idea behind your music video and the song.
Paradise is a R&B/Rap song. The concept of the song is about feeling like you are in paradise wherever you are, as long as you are with the one you love.

.

Tell us about other members of your band, music producer, crew or music video director, how the song was recorded and how the music video was shot.
Havik produced the beat and sings the hook. Jre is on the first verse of the song. Pharoh sings and raps in the second verse of the song. The three of us are the only ones involved in the making of the song.

.

.

Tell us how you write your lyrics, compose, sing and record in the studio.
We try to find inspiration to write when we hear a beat that one of us have made. Once we listen, we all talk about what the concept of the song should be. We each write our own lyrics.
