Dreamin Big

Tell us your real names, country of birth, date of birth and childhood experience.

Hey what’s good much blessings I’m Randy Rambeau but you can just call me Rambeau and this is Mr. Damon Kardiac but y’all can just call him Mr.Kardiac. We are a hip hop duo both from southern Louisiana (USA) and when you grow up in Southwest Louisiana you’r gonna get exposed to all types of music from jazz to blues to zydeco to bounce to screw a lot of genres of music other areas aren’t exposed to and I think those experiences growing up helped us to mold our sound in the present.

.

.

.

Tell us about your music career, your band name, musical background, experience and skills.

{Mr Kardiac} I started making music just like anyone where I’m from.

Everywhere. Lol. Music made me. It became a career goal when I saw the impact motivational and inspirational words do. Music does it in ways no other art can.

.

.

.

Tell us about your genre, concept and idea behind your music video and the song.

{Rambeau} The whole concept behind the video is we feel like in our own way we as artists are modern day prophets speaking truth to the masses now it might be a truth you don’t like or can’t handle but it’s the truth nonetheless.

.

.

.

Tell us everything that we need to know about you as a musician and the ups and downs you have faced in the music business.

{Rambeau} I started making music a few years back I made an album with Xfyle on the track that never got released which was upsetting because I poured my heart into it but I kept it moving and kept pushing forward this industry is tough and it’s constant work so when things work out there’s this huge adrenaline high but it can also be depressing too see your work become futile.

.

.

.

Tell us about other members of your band, music producer, crew or music video director, how the song was recorded and how the music video was shot.

{Rambeau} We keep a small team most of the work that’s done is in house the track and most of the album was produced by Big Boy, the song came about from me and Kardiac playing around freestyling in the studio and time passed and one day Kardiac was like we gotta do something with this and I was game and we hit up the homie NJ and we went put it down basically lol the video was shot  by the Junglefilmz Crew it was a nice shoot we went out on a Saturday and knocked it out and was back to making music and contemplating on next move.

.

.

.

Tell us how long you have been in the music industry, your experience and your future goal.

{Mr Kardiac}I am an industry in the sense that I will be branded as a household name. The plan is to embed morals that guide. Violence is easy now. Leadership is condemned. Mr Kardiac.

.

.

.

Tell us what inspires you to write, compose and sing.

{Rambeau} Life inspires me, music and rap for me is like therapy I can let out my frustrations at the current system in my country, I can express the heartbreak and frustration from relationships , I can just have fun and spit some fly bars , I can express myself and my experiences.

.

.

.

Tell us the secret behind making a hit song.

{Rambeau } Even if I knew that I wouldn’t tell you lol but naw man seriously their is no secret now I feel like there are things you can do to better position yourself like promo, networking ,high quality music production, consistently working on better your craft as an artist etc but really there is no one formula for success with music.

.

.

.

Tell us the message you will like to pass to your fans out there.

{Mr kardiac} My message to any fans out there would be to aspire. We’ll only know what’s enough when we know what’s more than enough.

.

.

.

Tell the kind of advice you will give to an upcoming artist.

{Mr.Kardiac} Be true to yourself and never waive from your faith in yourself).

.

.

.

Elaborate on your music careers, albums, songs, tours, recognition or awards you might have obtained. ({Rambeau} I feel like we really hitting our stride in our careers now because so many opportunities are coming up when we first started it was hard to get support because hip hop is flooded with new artists and music daily but we persevered and keep dropping music as solo artist and this joint project is really taking off and the average fan might not be hip to us yet but within the industry it’s so much love, currently we are not touring we just in a creative space and we don’t wanna lose that vibe yet.

.

.

.

List Radio or TV Stations that are airing your songs and blogs that have featured you as well and send message to them via this platform.

{Mr. Kardiac } We have been on radio all thru the world really been featured in Djbooth, Thisis50, Vibe etc and it’s just been a blessing honestly).

.

.

.

Tell us how you write your lyrics, compose, sing and record in the studio. ({Mr.Kardiac} Well I write the song according to the drum add emphasis to my words through the melody and compose the song with a message. I record with at least one gram and a shot of brown. Lol.

.

.

.

Name five biggest artists that you like. ({Rambeau} Bob Marley , 2pac, Pimp C (of UGK),Laryn Hill, and Andre from Outkast).

.

.

.

Name the artists you have collaborated with before in your songs or artists you are willing to collaborate with in the future if you have the chance to do so. {MrKardaic} On this album we have Breana Marin(singer), Jazze Belle (r&b neo soul band), Blakk Thomas (shout out Blakk the Beast) and a couple featured we wanna keep hidden lol and if not this album on a future one we gonna get K-Rino and prolly 3D N’atee.

{Mr.Kardiac} They can contact us thru social media, can get it on Amazon, ITunes and most major distributors).

.

.

.

Tell us about your happiest day and saddest day.

({Mr Kardiac} My happiest day was the day I discovered hip hop.

{Rambeau} And honestly I don’t even wanna think what’s my saddest day I try not too focus on the negative I leave the parts of me that no longer serve me in the past.

.

.

Tell us how you will spend a million dollars.

{Mr.Kardiac} We’d reinvest in ourselves and our community and take care of the ones who stood by us.
