Tell us your real names, country of birth, date of birth and childhood experience.

My name is Omari Ingram. I professionally go by Euwei (pronounced U-Way). I was born in the United States and I was a weird kid that saw too much on the internet at a young age.

Tell us about your music career, your band name, musical background, experience and skills.

I’m an artist figuring out the concept of being human. I get busy lol.

.

.

.

Tell us about your genre, concept and idea behind your music video and the song.

I try to create outside the bounds of genre. But Hip Hop is usually the base of everything. The concept of the video was inspired by a movie called “A Field In England”. It’s a very strange movie outside the bounds of categorization, which is something I find very inspiring.

Tell us everything that we need to know about you as a musician and the ups and downs you have faced in the music business.

I’m an enigma and sometimes I do things I wasn’t even expecting. The ups and downs of the music business are pretty cut and dry. You eat what you kill. That can be very overwhelming at times but if you’re prepared it’s quite the adventure

Tell us about other members of your band, music producer, crew or music video director, how the song was recorded and how the music video was shot.

I’m a solo act that produces MOST of my own personal music, but I have an indie label with two of my close friends called “Full Moon Corp”. My friend Brittany “Great Britt” Gage is the organized mind in the crew and also an impressive artist as well. William “Ph.D-Lovely” Lovely is the other member of the crew. He’s a talented producer/songwriter/engineer. When we collaborate we go under the name “The Counter Culture”. Chris Brann is the director of the music video. We experimented with a lot of lighting and used a very unique camera. I think he wants to keep it a secret so I can’t speak on it lol.

.

.

Tell us how long you have been in the music industry, your experience and your future goal.

I’ve actually been working in the music industry professionally for 3 years. I have a mixed pot of experience with production, engineering, and film. My future goal is to build one of the biggest indie labels ever.

.

Tell us what inspires you to write, compose and sing.

Usually things that have resonated deeply with my conscious/emotions inspire my writing. My music is always based on something from my reality. I look at songs like journal entries. My music demands a lot of self-reflection.

Tell us the secret behind making a hit song.

Before I answer that question I’d have to know what you consider a hit.

.

Elaborate on your music careers, albums, songs, tours, recognition or awards you might have obtained.

I think it would be more interesting if I let people go and find that out.

Tell us how you will spend a million dollars.

Off top I’d invest a respectable amount into the youth of Dekalb County. Build an artistic hangout spot for kids. Give them a place to make whatever they want and supply them with the resources they would need.
