Tell us your real names, country of birth, date of birth and childhood experience.

My Name is Jeremy Securo. I’m from Rhode Island in the United States.

.

Tell us about your music career, your band name, musical background, experience and skills.

I have been writing, producing and recording music now for 4 years. But I have been a musician most of my life. Ranging from drums, piano, bass, guitar and vocals.

.

.

.

Tell us about your genre, concept and idea behind your music video and the song.

I personally don’t like to label my genre because I channel my experiences through my music. I will write an electro pop song one day and an R&B soul jam the next. I like to encourage artist experimentation.

.

.

.

Tell us everything that we need to know about you as a musician and the ups and downs you have faced in the music business.

If you let it, the business side of producing an album will ruin the creativity of the album. I have a vision and I want to be real and keep it as genuine as it can be. I want people to listen to my music and know I’ve been there too. The people who relate will vibe with my diverse music.

.

.

.

Tell us about other members of your band, music producer, crew or music video director, how the song was recorded and how the music video was shot.

It’s a one man show. All me. However on this track I sent the demo to my good friend Knollege to give me feed back and decided I wanted him featured. He’s got some serious talent. Would love to work with him again.

.

.

.

Tell us how long you have been in the music industry, your experience and your future goal.

I started with my studio in February of 2014, so it’s been just about four years now. My goal is to influence and touch the minds of people that need or are looking to be inspired and need to know others relate to them. Whether I’m on a stage or behind a studio with a project and a note pad I just want music to saturate my career.

.

.

.

Tell us what inspires you to write, compose and sing.

The best feeling in the world is getting those random lyrics or song ideas that just suddenly spark! Some of my best work has been inspired by driving, visiting new places and even analyzing other relationships in real life, or on TV.  Whenever I have an idea or a concept I jot it in my notes app for song lyrics later. I could scroll forever through my notes.

.

.

.

Tell us the secret behind making a hit song.

It has to be new, fresh and real.

As a producer you hear a song so much while making it. By the release day you want to claw your ears off. But if I don’t mind hearing someone else playing it once it’s out there, that’s when I know It’s got potential.

.

.

.

Tell us the message you will like to pass to your fans out there.

It’s so hard to get attention for music nowadays with so many people building studios and uploading music everywhere, people do not take you serious. To everyone that has taken me seriously and vibes with my vision and projects so far, thank you for believing in me and I love you.

.

.

.

Tell the kind of advice you will give to an upcoming artist.

Do not be afraid of failure or of hate. When you are starting off, people are going to mock you and talk about you. Become bigger than that. They’re just full of insecurities because they aren’t chasing their dreams. And also just be real. Be you. Because if your music reflects otherwise, you will lose yourself completely , and people will like a false version of you.

.

.

.

Elaborate on your music careers, albums, songs, tours, recognition or awards you might have obtained.

I would rather have a small group of listeners that love my music and relate to it and interact with me than thousands of people that just have me in their playlist because it bumps.

.

.

.

Tell us how you write your lyrics, compose, sing and record in the studio.

My songs start from the beat up. I️ pick a chord progression, then add the drums. That’s when I️ feel the tempo . Then I️ sing random melodies into my phone while it’s playing. It’s at that point I️ take an idea or a poem I️ have written in my notes and write the song.

.

.

.

Name five biggest artists that you like.

They fluctuate but I’v liked

Coldplay, The 1975, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons for a long time.

.

.

.

Name the artists you have collaborated with before in your songs or artists you are willing to collaborate with in the future if you have the chance to do so.

Like I️ said previously, I love working with knollege. Everyone should check him out. I️ believe in his talent and his vision. He raps about a lot of insightful and  intelligent topics and  it’s refreshing to hear that in modern music.

Tell us how you will spend a million dollars.

I would spend one million dollars by trading it with someone for one million and one dollars and keep doing that until I have like one million and 26 dollars !
