Tell us your real names, country of birth, date of birth and childhood experience.

JW: Jonny Webber, born in England.

JC: Joseph Jamie Martin Douglas Capaldi the 1st. I grew up in Denver, ColoRADo, in the rocky mountains, sawing beds in half and flying planes with my dad until one day it all went terribly wrong.

MS: Michael Serapinas. Can’t really say much else or the MI5 might get me.

Tell us about your music career, your band name, musical background, experience and skills

JW: The band name was originally a tribute to one of our favourite bands The Stone Roses – it’s a line from one of their songs. Me and Joe (vocals/guitar) had the idea for the band when we met a few years ago and now it’s starting to kick off.

JC: I started playing guitar around 13, I always thought we got the band name from an online “band name generator” but maybe not.

MS: Started playing trumpet age 5, guess you could say I’m good at blowing.

.

.

.

Tell us about your genre, concept and idea behind your music video and the song.

JW: Having released two singles more in the “pop rock” genre we wanted to do something dirtier and sexier – which is reflected in the song and the video. So far it’s had a great reactions from fans and critics.

JC: We like to call it “drunken guitar pop”, baby.

.

.

.

Tell us everything that we need to know about you as a musician and the ups and downs you have faced in the music business.

JC: Homelessness, serious illness, and unemployability.

JW: I’ve been in a few bands before but they weren’t very serious so there no downs or ups really – just a few shit gigs that I probably thought were world changing at the time. It was only when I met Joe that I found someone who shared the same ambitions as me and things really started to happen.

MS: Same as Jonny, been in loads of different bands and outfits over the years, but this is the first one where everyone is committed 24/7.

.

.

.

Tell us how long you have been in the music industry, your experience and your future goal.

JC: We will not rest until we have a documentary made about us, a book written about us and a line of our own perfume.

JW: I agree with Joe. Also I wouldn’t say we’re “in the industry” as we’re not signed, nor have I ever been. We’re waiting for a big label to come in. It seems glamorous for some people to say they’re signed, when all it means is they’re giving half their earnings to some shit indie label who put no time or money into their band. They’re just kidding themselves. In this day and age you don’t have to do that, it’s a piece of piss to self release your music. Our goal is to bring back credible rock n roll into the mainstream. Society needs more rock n roll in general – everyone’s too uptight these days – they need to let their hair down and chill out. The problem is that there aren’t enough bands out there who are exciting enough to bring it back to the mainstream, everyone’s lost sight of what rock n roll really means. Just go to a gig in South London to see what I mean. All the bands who play there are about as exciting as a packet of lentils.

MS: Life is like a box of chocolates, you eat them all and then you gotta go get a bigger box.

.

.

.

Tell us what inspires you to write, compose and sing.

JC: Every single thing.

MS: And maybe more.

.

.

.

Tell us the secret behind making a hit song.

JC: The secret to MAKING a song a hit these days seems to simply be money.

JW: We’ll let you know more once we’ve had one.

.

.

.

Tell us the message you will like to pass to your fans out there.

JW: Get paid, get laid. Rubber up.

MS: Don’t use the same one twice.

.

.

.

Tell the kind of advice you will give to an upcoming artist.

JW: We are an upcoming band ourselves, but you have to keep working to improve yourself all the time. Try to make yourself the best at what you do and don’t be complacent because someone blows a bit of smoke up your ass. It’s also important to get out there on the town and meet people – a lot of it’s contacts these days.

JC: Just be rich!

MS: Be yourself.

JC: But mostly just be rich!

.

.

.

Elaborate on your music careers, albums, songs, tours, recognition or awards you might have obtained.

JW: I think you’re mistaking us for fucking U2! We’re a young band just starting out. Give us chance, baby.

.

.

.

List Radio or TV Stations that are airing your songs and blogs that have featured you as well and send message to them via this platform.

Gigslutz, Rank Magazine and BBC.

.

.

.

Tell us how you write your lyrics, compose, sing and record in the studio.

JC: In the middle of the night when you wake up for no apparent reason, that’s when all the best ideas come.

JW: He then sings them into a microphone to record them. Groundbreaking stuff.

.

.

.

Name five biggest artists that you like.

JC: Johnny Thunders, XTC, Robbie Williams, The Cribs and Gary Glitter.

.

.

.

Name the artists you have collaborated with before in your songs or artists you are willing to collaborate with in the future if you have the chance to do so.

JW: None, we have no plans  to collaborate with anyone at the moment, but you never know what will happen in the future. This kind of thing should be saved for later in the band’s career, once they’ve established their own identity. Having said that, Joe’s been attempting to collaborate with John Denver through seance.

JC: They were both the same day but I don’t remember the date.

MS: The day I discovered Five Guys, can’t stop eating there now.
