.

.

.

Tell us about yourself as an artist.

My name is WOULF which is an acronym for Working. On. Uplifting. Life. Fully. Basically elevation in life… “Power Up”.

.

.

.

Tell us about the genre of your music.

I make Hip-hop/Rap music.

.

.

.

Tell us about the story behind your song.

When I got the beat from the South Florida producer, “Bluff Gawd“… S/o to Bluff Gawd. He really put his foot on the beat! It was in a pack he had sent me. I heard it and the song instantly came to me. I was at a point in my life where I’ve been reaching for a “hit” that I forgot how to enjoy music and have fun with it. When I went to record it at the studio a couple people sat in on the session. As soon as I started flowing everyone was hype! Once I got the record back I sat on it for 2 days, went back to the studio to rerecord it and Antoine Christopher (My engineer and main producer) had put his blessings on the track and, it became the track that it is today “CONTACT”. The reason I called it that was because of the feeling it gave everyone at the studio that night! The high was like a contact high ya dig!? Surprisingly we all were sober hahaha.

.

.

.

Tell us about the challenges you are facing as a musician.

Challenges I face are making the funds meet and getting in contact with the people who can move your records. Not everyone is willing to take a risk with their own career to help yours.

.

.

.

Tell us the names of blogs, radio or TV stations that have supported you so far.

AllHipHop & Popped Cherry so far… oh and you guys S/o to BroadTube ya dig!!!

.

Tell us more about your music career, experience and future goals.

I’m 23 and released my first full-length mixtape Wolves Amongst Men which can be purchased through Amazon Music and iTunes. Being from Cleveland Ohio, I networked with various producers, DJs and promoters around the Midwest. After successfully completing my first tour throughout Ohio, I gained recognition throughout colleges, towns and city life. I have received press write up in the last issue of the Cleveland Scene back in December of 2016, naming me an artist to watch for in 2017. I have been building a strong presence with the Live Nation venue “House of Blues” by opening up for legends such as “The Lox” and “Big Boi.” In the month of May I had the privilege opening up for “Beanie Siegel”, and “Stalley” at the Grog Shop.

.

.

.

Tell us what inspires you to write, compose and sing.

Life and everyday events I got through. Everything I talk about is real… I really own that Cadillac that’s in the cover. It’s a way I learned how to ease pain and escape reality for a while, especially when I’m in the booth.

.

.

.

Tell us the secret behind making a hit song.

Be yourself… Be comfortable with yourself. Truly feel that shit from deep within!

.

.

.

Elaborate on your music careers, albums, songs, tours, recognition or awards you might have obtained.

It’s a tough one! I don’t pay attention to that stuff…I feel like the moment I do is when I’ll slow up!!! I have no time to waste even if it is to acknowledge all the great stuff going on… I have to keep working.

.

.

.

Tell us how you write your lyrics, compose, sing and record in the studio.

I usually write chorus first then verses!!! But I’m trying something different and just letting the music consume me. This time I’m only writing 1 verse, I’m not making a full 3min.-4min. song any time soon.
