Elaborate on the story behind the song.
The story behind the song “Wife” started in Birmingham, Alabama. I bought the instrumental from a Birmingham producer named Kay-1. My fiancée Moco came in town from NYC and recorded her vocals for the bridge. I was able to lay the chorus down in a few takes with no issues. That song was not written; I just had a few ideas in my head during the time of the recording.

Now a days the process for recording songs usually starts with me freestyling random words and sounds to develop a nice flow. After I think of a good concept, I will then start filling in the random words and sounds with lyrics. I am usually able to write 8-12 bars in my head at a time.

I get fund for my music career with my day job. I am almost to a point in my music career where I will be making money back from my art, which is a beautiful feeling.
