Tell us everything will need to know about you.

I am a hip hop artist from Brooklyn. My style is best labelled as hip hop soul. I speak on real life subjects. I tend to leave the cliche hip hop alone…..money, cars and women.

.

.

.

State your favourite genre of music and your reason.

Favorite genre is hip hop and soul music. I believe stories should be not only told but felt. I believe these genres accomplish that the most.

.

.

.

Tell us your experience as a musician.

At times it can be tough. The challenge of trying to get your voice to be heard can be daunting but your love of the craft should remain the light in the dark to see you through.

.

.

.

Tell us the theme of your song.

“In the Wind” is a song about those times when you just need to ease your mind. Forget about it all. So everything becomes a distraction to take your mind off of what you might be dealing with.

.

.

.

Name the people behind your success and thank them on this platform.

My team consists of my producer Borne Legacy and my photographer and almost everything else I need, Dysfunctional Shades.

.

.

.

Tell us about your future goals.

My goal is to continue to be the voice for the unheard. The writer and broadcaster of the stories often forgotten to be told because we are told they don’t exist.

.

.

.

Elaborate on how you think your music is inspiring your fans.

I provide them a place to go when the world forgets about them. I remind them it’s OK to not be a face amongst the crowd.

.

.

.

Explain the changes you have observed so far in the music industry.

Think it’s become more of an even playing field. Nowadays your work ethic defines you. Not a co-sign.

.

.

.

State the artists you cherish most and your reason.

Some artists that inspire me are 2 pac, Scarface, DMX, and Sam Cooke.

I write from the depths. I don’t think just let it spill out. I use personal experiences whether they are mine or another one’s experiences.

.

.

.

Tell us if you enjoy collaborating with other artists or just singing as a solo artist.

Collaborations are great. They introduce you to new thoughts. And allow a different perspective on a subject.

.

.

.

Brief us your opinion on making music that makes people to dance or making the kind of music with genuine message that inspires them.

I prefer making music people can genuinely relate to.

.

.

.

Tell us what you know about copyright.

It’s important. Helps protect your work and legacy.

.

.

.

Discuss the impact of a Performing Rights Organization.

Think they can do better for independent artist. It’s still major artist favorable.

.

.

.

Elaborate on how you develop your melody and instrumentation.

I listen to the instrumentation and become one. I try to become the missing instrument the producer couldn’t find.

.

.

.

Go into detail on the recording process of this song.

I was in the studio vibing; when this beat came on. I knew I liked it and was sure which direction to take it. But on the third listening it just clicked.  So I began writing to it.

Recording it was fun. Felt as free as being on the highway with no speed limit.

.

.

.

Discuss your music performance.

Pure energy. I sometimes feel bad for those that may go on after me. I own the stage. I take the crowd with me.

.

.

.

Tell us how you will rate yourself as an artist.

Still growing. Still learning. Still ambitious.
