LEGENDARY JAPANESE GUITARIST HOTEI ANNOUNCES “ATTRACTION” MOVIE TIE IN
With 40 million record sales under his belt, the legendary Japanese guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei has announced a single for the UK release of the blockbuster Sci-fi movie Attraction, billed as the Russian Independence Day; only his second Western movie after his world-famous track to Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill.
Hotei has worked with many music legends, the Rolling Stones, the late David Bowie, Nick Camen and Iggy Pop to name a few. Few artists can boast over 35 years in the music industry; the longevity of Hotei’s career is down to his exceptional virtuoso guitar skills, his versatility, and vision and to continuously push the boundaries.
Currently, Hotei’s song, “Kill To Love You,” is being promoted for the UK cinematic release of Russian blockbuster “Attraction.” “Kill To Love You” was co-written with and features vocals from ‘Matt Tuck from Bullet For My Valentine, and is taken from the Strangers album.
“Attraction”, was the biggest grossing film in Russia in 2017, a sci-fi drama directed by leading, award winning Russian director Fyodor Bondarchuk; previous films include the successful and critically acclaimed “Stalingrad,, and “9th Company.”
