Sylvan Esso has just released a new video for her song titled PARAD.
I’m absolutely delighted to kick off the year with brand new music from the brilliant Sylvan Esso! They’ve released the video for new single PARAD(w/m)E (pronounced “Parade With Me”), after debuting it on track with a live performance on Jimmy Kimmel’s show.
The brand new track comes around the Grammy Awards on January 28th, where the band were nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album for 2017’s record “What Now”. The band had a huge, breakthrough 2017 in the UK, with radio & press support across the board, accumulating in a SOLD OUT show at Shepherd’s Bush Empire with The 405 said had “one of the most exuberant and zealous crowds I’ve seen in years” (read review here: https://tinyurl.com/y7qx4wp9)
2018 already looks like an exciting year for the band, who are heading to the UK on May 27th alongside Bjork, Beck, Father John Misty & Flying Lotus. On top of that, high profile appearances confirmed for three of the biggest festivals in America: The Governors Ball Music Festival in New York (June 1-3); Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tenn (June 7-10); and XPoNential Music Festival in New Jersey plus their own headline tour which includes shows at Red Rocks & The Greek!
Reaction to the new music has been huge in the UK with 10 plays on 6Music and 6 on Radio 1 already under our belt ahead of playlist discussions next week. It’s the strongest start to a radio campaign they’ve ever had here!
