F.A.M.E. Gotti

State your reason for choosing music as a career.

When I was 15, my closest friend that I looked up to like a brother was shot and killed. He died in my arms that day; I was with him when it happened. It made me to look at life differently. Before he died we were doing music together, his death inspired me to go harder and never quit because life isn’t promised.

.

Tell us how you write the lyrics to your song.

I could be sitting down, listening to beats then stumble over one I really like, find a catchy melody perfect to the beat and create my masterpiece. Sometimes a bar or chorus comes to my head out of nowhere and I immediately write a song to it. It’s just about how I feel at the moment really; creating lyrics is the easy part.

.

.

.

Tell us about your life outside the music world.
I own the label I rap under so I’m constantly handling business trying to find new artist, teach them the game. I’m just focused on music.

.

.

.

Brief us about your music career.

I’m a CEO that raps, everything I own myself, no investor. I grind and put the work in non-stop to achieve a level so great JAY-Z would be impressed.

Elaborate on how you come about your artist’s name.

I have always been Jay Gotti or Gotti Inna Hood, I added F.A.M.E because so many people prayed on my downfall so it’s Fuck All My Enemies, that’s also my label’s name, F.A.M.E ENTERTAINMENT.

I rather release 5-9 song EP, perfect quality, great music, than to release 20 songs and people listen to 5-9. I don’t believe in “throw away” songs.
