Siore is an indie/electropop outfit from Melbourne that formed in 2016 with Jessica Evans on vocals and Paul Siourthas on guitar.
With lush, moody sounds and rich vocals, Melbourne duo SIORE have dropped the first single from their forthcoming EP.
With powerful vocals and flawless songwriting, the debut single ‘Release Me To The Sea’ is the first taste of things to come.
Jessica Evans says this first single is a tale of awakening and letting go.
Formed after a chance meeting online, SIORE’s Evans (vocals) and Siourthas (guitar) joined forces to produce their soulful, pop electronica. After 18 months of songwriting, the duo called on the expertise of Stuart Stuart, responsible for the success of Sheppard’s ‘Geronimo’, surpassing triple platinum in Australia.
Jess’ brooding vocals accompanied with Paul’s haunting abilities to fabricate.
Produced and mixed in Brisbane by ARIA-nominated producer and mastering engineer Stuart Stuart, the latest work promises raw songwriting teamed with Smooth production. This song has been premiered on Triple J Unearthed and SoundCloud with pending release of their EP later this month. SIORE’s main influences in their music include Broods, Vera Blue and Lorde.
