Adrian Youngblood, known amongst peers of lyricism as Ayoblud, is a conscious hip hop artist proudly planted with his South Florida roots. With the ambition and determination to stay true to the foundation upon what hip hop was based, Ayoblud continuously provides his listeners with the hunger and passion of real life experiences through potent lyricism. In fear of missing a rhyme of importance, Ayoblud gives you the urge to rewind each track in attempts to catch every phrase and punch line. With a humble, yet confident attitude, Adrian Ayoblud YP Youngblood breeched his way into a world of struggle and love.

Growing up in various regions of South Florida, church was always a factor in his life. This is where he fell in love with drums, piano, melodies and the word choice of music. Watching his mother in the Choir he always hoped for the voice of an angel but as he grew older, something came over him. Ayoblud made a realization that would change not only his mindset but his life as a whole. He found a distinct satisfaction in the wordplay of rappers and poets. So in 2001 he started writing poetry for personal purposes and by the middle of 2005 he traded in the rhyme schemes and limericks in for bars verses and hooks.

Joining his first rap group, Local Circle, his sophomore year of high school he began to find himself being challenged lyrically. Ayoblud was featured on two of the mixtapes distributed under the Local Circle camp. Noticing his progression and crowd reaction, he realized this was something he was destined to do for as long as God willing. During his senior year, rapping became less of a priority and graduating took the place of his pen in paper. He went back to writing poetry to keep his mind stimulated but didn’t release any songs until the summer of 2007. After moving to Tallahassee for college, his rapping career seized to exist. This extinction lasted until someone asked him for a verse in the winter of 2008; it was as if the feeling never left.

Soho - Red Eye

Red Eye

This is a song from the group Red Eye, who cover raw social, emotional and political issues, based on the foundation that every song should carry a message. This track tackles the gentrification of the Soho district of London; but it could equally apply to many areas in cities around the world where “good time cleansing” threatens to destroy the vibe and character of an area. It is depicted through the eyes and memories of an ex night worker, wanting to visit Soho one more time before it changes and “dies” forever. Together with some of the damaging social consequences of gentrification to residential areas, there are also potentially irreversible consequences to vibrant inner city areas. As rents go up, music, noise and dance restrictions increase, and rich new residents put pressure on bars and nightclubs to close. As such there is a real danger that many lively, exciting areas which have existed for years are cleansed and gentrified forever.

Body - Jordana

Jordana

Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Jordana left home at an early age to pursue her dream of leaving her mark in the timeline of music history.

Since settling in Dallas, TX she has collaborated with a number of producers including Geoff Rockwell and Grammy-Nominated Carmen Rizzo.

In April of 2017 following the release of her electro-pop Record, ‘Lost + Found’, Jordana signed with Los Angeles based music publishing and licensing company, Lyric House. In just her first year with Lyric House she has seen several placements across different shows that run on MTV.

Over the last 18 months Jordana has been focused on a new project that has inspired a season of self-discovery. Working with a new writing team consisting of Americana/Folk artist Austin Blair Campbell and Owner/Operator of The Hang Studios in Fort Worth TX, Ben Barnett, Jordana feels that she is on the cusp of HER sound. The flutter of a new love, the pain of inevitable heartbreak, and the strength within herself to face the world head on are the stories Jordana is beginning to reveal with a no filter approach.
