Neko Savvy

Tell us everything will need to know about you.

I am musician from Dallas, Texas. I moved around a lot as a kid which allowed me to see many different walks of life. I lived in Ohio, Colorado, Texas, and Los Angeles. I have been around music since I was born. My passion stems from my grandfather Charlie Hatchett’s success in the music industry. He owned a Talent Agency/Studio in Austin where he worked with tons of big acts including Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B. King, The Eagles, ZZ Top, & many more household names. That eventually got him into the Texas Music Hall of Fame. I am a loving, humble person who is here to spread positivity in any way possible. I love my family, my girl, and my music. I am focused and driven towards making my people comfortable and achieving my dreams.

.

.

State your favourite genre of music and your reason.

I don’t really have a favorite genre of music; I listen to a lot of different kinds and appreciate authentic real sounds.

.

.

.

Tell us your experience as a musician.

My experience has been all over the place. As a kid I played guitar and sang at shows with my grandfather. As a teenager in high school I was in a hardcore band and played tons of shows in Dallas. Now as a young adult I have seen the industry first hand in LA and what it really takes to make it as an entertainer/musician. I have slept on the floor for my passion and will make any other sacrifice I have to in order to achieve my dream. I love creating songs, playing shows, recording videos, and everything else it takes in this day and age to be a musician.

.

.

.

Tell us about your future goals.

I’m going to buy back my grandfather’s ranch back from its new owners. I’m going to become successful enough to support anyone and anything I want to. I want to eventually have a family. I want my music to be heard by the masses.

It’s showing my fans that if you put hard work in, great things come in return.

Since I was a kid I’ve seen the internet over saturate the music industry due to home studios and accessibility to anyone/anything in the world.

We went to the Apple store. We made a beat. We pulled out the microphone and input to the computer. We recorded the song in the Apple store and then made a music video in the mall we were in after.

.

.

.

Discuss your music performance.

I’m very interactive with the crowds I perform with. I like to jump off stage and get on floor level with my fans. I like to jump around a lot and do karate kicks. Sometimes it’s fun to stare people directly in the eyes. It really all depends on the energy of the venue.

The title of the album is, “Premier.” and my reason for picking this title is because of the definition of Premier itself means “First in order, or position; leading.” It also can mean “the first public presentation of a theatrical or musical act”.
