Freya Ridings – Lost Without You

‘Lost Without You’ is a cinematic piano ballad contemplating the one who got away.

Freya Ridings is a London-based singer, songwriter, and pianist with a notably rich, soulful vocal tone. After opening shows in the U.K. for Gavin James earlier in the year, she made her headlining debut in May 2017. Concentrating on plaintive ballads, the show doubled as her recording debut; Live at St Pancras Old Church was released by Good Soldier Records that September…

With his fusion of Country, Folk, Americana and Rock styles and having worked with some of music’s royalty over the recent period, Burrows has delivered a track resulting in an amalgamation of creativity, hard work and honesty leaving you with a taste of things to come.

Burrows worked on this EP with GRAMMY- award winning, Hall of Famer, Country artist Frank Myers (I Swear), producer Jimmy Nichols, and audio engineer, and also GRAMMY- award winner, Steve Marcantonio.

Based in Melbourne, Australia, where he produces film, music and radio scores, Burrows never strays too far from his musical surroundings, also writing jingles and sonic branding for many well-known Australian brands during the week.

Luke Burr – Lights On

Luke Burr is without question one of the UK’s hottest emerging music artists of the year. Described by music media and industry execs as a raw mix of ‘early Amy Winehouse meets John Legend’.

Hailing from Essex, Luke found his love for music through listening to his father’s old soul records and has been inspired by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross and George Benson. Luke started singing and playing piano. His flair for performing was triggered at fifteen, when he booked his first few gigs at some local pubs (and a few dives!), word started to spread of this ‘local teenager with the voice beyond his years’, this prompted more and more people to start turning up to every show. After seeing what songs would resonate with the people of Hornchurch, Luke started to write his own music, all while achieving top grades in his class and much to the dismay of his teachers Luke decided to skip a University education to concentrate solely on his music career.

Luke has worked and toured with some huge industry names which has helped him establish his unique and spell binding signature sound. Handpicked to be the main male vocalist on tour with Rudimental; his latest single ‘Lights On’ is the perfect demonstration of Luke’s soulful vocal ability and it has attracted support from the likes of Apple, Spotify, Shazam, Sofar Sounds and BBC Introducing.

Recent performances for Luke have included The Great Escape, a BBC Introducing live session, VIP performance at Shazam’s UK HQ, Sofar Sounds, a performance at Ticketmaster’s HQ as well as several sold out gigs that Luke headlined. In addition to several prestigious festivals Luke will also be performing at Communion’s music night at the arts club later this month.

At only 22 Luke Burr is set to cement himself as a key industry name this year both in the studio and onstage.

The Hasbros – Don’t Say What You Mean

The Hasbros are an American indie/post-punk/alt/pop band formed in New York City in the early 1980’s. After growing pains, break ups and several personnel changes, the band finally clicked in 1986 with a lineup comprised of Bob Hanophy (guitar/vocals), Ken O’Connor (bass/guitar) and Joe Gorelick (drums/vocals). The Hasbros played many NYC area shows, garnered favorable press reviews and gathered a small following. The band opened for The Spin Doctors, They Might Be Giants and other leading acts in the NY club scene. Gorelick departed the band in 1992. Hanophy and O’Connor carried on for a bit until everyday life got in the way. Gorelick went on to tour extensively, first playing in King Missile on their Atlantic Record’s U.S. tour debut, then creating the popular emo punk band trio Garden Variety. He also played with Washington DC’s Bluetip and made five records and multiple TV appearances with NYC trio Retisonic. Ever in demand, Gorelick played a UK tour with Springsteen faves, Marah, and has released two critically acclaimed LP’s with Dischord Records artists, Red Hare (ex-SWIZ). Despite Gorelick’s hectic schedule, The Hasbros reunited for a one off show at NYC’s, “Arlene’s Grocery” in April of 2015, which sparked the band’s interest in recording a long overdue LP. In 2017, the band, descended upon Obscenic Arts Studio in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, to work with the amazing Anthony Esposito (Ace Frehley, Lynch Mob, Red Dragon Cartel) to record the LP, “Cart Before The Horse” which was released in April, 2018.

The Hasbros Release ‘Cart Before the Horse’

New Album Out Now

Jamaica, New York – July 10, 2018 – There aren’t many people who pick something back up more than two decades later. Usually, once it’s over, that’s it. Well, that is not the case for the men that make up The Hasbros. While many trends have come and gone since they dropped their last record in 1992, Bob Hanophy (guitar/vocals) Joe Gorelick (drums/vocals) Ken “Cardinal” O’Connor (bass/guitar) decided to pick back up where they left off with their alternative power pop ways with their 2018 release, ‘Cart Before the Horse’ .

The Hasbros rocked together for six years before hanging it up in 1992. In 2015 they got the band back together for what they thought was a one-time gig at New York City’s Arlenes Grocery. The spark had been lit and two years later Bob Hanophy, Joe Gorelick, and Ken “Cardinal” O’Connor were ready to really get back into things. Fast forward to April 2018 and the release of Cart Before the Horse and it was like time had stood still. Their sound was as fresh as ever and it was as if they’d never left the stage.

During more than 25 years apart, with Hanophy and O’Connor focused on their careers and Gorelick having gone on to play in seminal post punk bands, Garden Variety, Retisonic and Red Hare, The Hasbros got back together for the pure enjoyment of it all. Older and wiser, they want to release music people can have fun with and enjoy either by listening to ‘Cart Before The Horse’ on their own time or seeing them hit the stage for one of their blistering live shows. The Hasbros plan on playing as many live shows as their schedule permits and are currently planning a limited East Coast tour.
