Good on them! Hopefully if they have talent then the talent will shine through. Money can buy lots of things, but it can’t make one a talented musician/singer/songwriter. The artist’s talent will speak for itself and eventually shine through if it is real.

Tell us your experience as a musician.

I’m not famous. And I don’t want to be.  I would love my music to speak for itself and hopefully reach out to people and make them feel something, depending on what they are going through. I would like to touch people on a deeper level with my music.

Tell us your opinion on streaming and digital download of songs.

I think it’s brilliant! It allows indie musicians (like me) to be heard on a bigger platform. The possibilities are endless. As an artist I do not currently have the capacity to tour etc., but this platform enables my music to be heard around the world; and I am grateful for that.

Tell us your goals and plans.

To be known as a musical artist who has conviction.

 

For my music to be heard around the world and to touch listeners around the word.

 

To develop a strong catalogue of original music; (and to be remembered for my music).

 

To make a full-length album (hopefully one day – but no one buys full length albums anymore, do they?).

 

To hopefully get some reimbursement at some point for my musical endeavours (but that is not my motivation – I just want to get my tracks out there).

I like unique artists who write their own music and/or lyrics; who have conviction, who don’t try to be what others expect them to be (no flashy sideshow) and who are proud of the music they make that will stand the test of time!

Increased opportunities such as what you are doing to allow indie artists to be heard on a broader scale and to discover untapped talent. What you are doing to get music heard is brilliant!

Tell us your opinion on television/radio stations playing the same songs from established artists and giving little chances to independent artists.

It sucks!  Some of the best songs ever written have not yet been heard!

Tell us the challenges independent artists are facing and how to tackle it.

Lack of money to finance producers/publishers etc.; who have the excellent contacts. It seems to be about who you know and that’s not fair because there is real untapped talent just waiting for an opportunity. The way to tackle it is by doing exactly what you are doing and you are awesome! Giving artists who have talent an opportunity and platform on which they can be heard!

Yes! It is basically all I have got in terms of advertising and promoting my music.
