“Rachel Lynn is a New York-based vocalist who creates music with style and substance.”
– The Huffington Post
Coming from an abundantly musical family, Rachel Lynn had her sights set on singing from a young age.
The New York City-based chanteuse is a classically-trainer vocalist whose original soulful pop music is entwined with her signature evocative lyrics.
Her sound resonates with the passion of a singer/songwriter raised on 90’s pop and Motown masterpieces.
Having studied music at The University of Maryland, College Park; Lynn had performed throughout the DMV area, as well as at numerous NYC venues, including Mercury Lounge and Webster Hall.
She has also toured regionally throughout the east coast.
Rachel Lynn’s EP project, To Street & Transfer, boasts “a powerful voice, top-notch writing ability and now a full band,” (Arena.com).
The project has been praised by publications such as The Huffington Post, Pop Matters, and Baeble Music, stating: “There’s nothing apologetic about Rachel Lynn’s voice; with booming soul and charismatic charm, she conquers space fervently and without restraint,” (Baeble Music).
It spun on radio stations nationwide, garnering attention from numerous college audiences.
Lynn was named one of New Music Seminar’s Top 100 Artists on the Verge and was selected to officially showcase at CMJ and NACA Mid-Atlantic.
She has opened for acts such as AJR (Warner Bros), played several shows during SXSW 2017, and signed multiple sync licenses at the end of 2017 (Discovery, E!, Bravo, Netflix, TLC, Oxygen).
Rachel Lynn released a single titled “Seeing Red” in 2015 and is donating all proceeds to the animal rights organization Mercy For Animals.
Since its release, the single and lyric video has been mentioned by various publications and Internet personalities such as Global Vegans and Confront Magazine.
