303 – Out Here
303 release a powerful single entitled ‘Out Here.’ Following on from the success of their last release, ‘Someone Else’, 303 are back with their evocative new track ‘Out Here.’
With a ‘women-can-do-it-too’ attitude cemented into the lyrics, plus the 90’s nostalgia prominent in the visuals, 303 affirm that ‘Out Here’ is set to be the female empowerment anthem of the summer.
“The lyrics to ‘Out Here’ kind of speak for themselves… We wanted to highlight that girls can have just as much fun as guys… We’re allowed to have a cheeky flirt without expecting a marriage proposal! Inspired by some of our favourite videos of the 2000s, we wanted to channel those young and fun summertime vibes into the video whilst capturing the spirit of our lives in London. This is the first time we’ve done a full-on dance routine in a video and we loved it so much!”
After bursting onto the scene in grand fashion with the release of their debut single ‘Whisper,’ 303 are set to establish themselves as the ones to watch in the forthcoming year with their fresh take on R&B.
Three digits, three young women… Introducing 303.
Formed on March 30th, 2017, which is the reason behind the numeric name, 303 are a fierce new R&B group for the ages. Packing bundles of charisma, soul and musical talent, the trio are natural successors in the three-piece canon… Think Destiny’s Child or TLC but British and brand new.
Each member has a unique individual character and personality, but their talent is being able to fuse their distinct voices and styles into a perfect and unique blend of harmonies and visuals.
303 create a timeless sound, capturing classic elements of R&B from the ’90s to now.
Old friends, Io (Eye-o) and Maddie, both 19 and both South London girls had been creating music together and were looking for a third member to complete their creative vision. During this search, the girls stumbled upon the 18-year-old, London born, Chloe and her stripped back YouTube covers of tracks including Drake’s ‘Fake Love’ & ‘Come Thru’ & ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ by Alicia Keys. They invited her down to London, from Newcastle, and the three girls had their first rehearsal together in March 2017.
Since then, 303 have worked on their music and, in the last few months, have burst onto the scene, releasing classic tracks ‘Whisper’ and ‘Someone Else’ to great acclaim. Their songs have already amassed over a million streams and gained support from Radio 1Xtra, Radio 1, Capital Xtra and Rinse FM. With support from notable publications including Fader, Clash, The Guardian and others, there is a feeling that 303 are on their way to becoming the UK’s next breakthrough act.
Signed to the independent label, Hot Spring Music, and working with burgeoning and creative duo, Bossy LDN, 303 have established a strong identity which falls somewhere between the late ’90s and now.
Influenced and inspired by a mix of current artists and long-standing icons including Ella Mai, Goldlink, H.E.R., Rihanna, Amy Winehouse, and Destiny’s Child, 303 are on a mission to create music that will also stand the test of time.
