The Faim shares a music video for the song entitled ‘Humans’ while ‘State of Mind’ (a First full-length record) will come to light on the 13th September 2019 via BMG.

The cinematic offering dives into the world of science fiction while also highlighting a visually stunning band performance.

The video follows the four-piece as they’re taken captive by a government organization and subjected to tests to determine if they are human or android. To escape, they’ll need the help of someone who’s more than human…

“Creating the music video for our latest single, ‘Humans,’ was our favourite shoot to date,” says Stephen Beerkens (bass/keys).

“We worked with an amazing team in Los Angeles, who helped capture the entire video in just one day. The concept represents us searching for both our differences and the things we have in common, which also encapsulates the essence of the song: what it means to be human,” he explains.

Following the release of last year’s debut EP, Summer Is a Curse, The Faim wasted no time creating music for their first full-length effort, State of Mind, due on 13th September via BMG.

The album includes eight brand new tracks in addition to previously-released singles, “Summer Is a Curse” and “Amelie.” If you were able to catch The Faim on tour in the U.S. earlier this year, you may have also heard them play “Beautiful Drama” and “Infamous,” two additional fan favourites on the record.

The Faim will also be unveiling more new music soon in advance of the album release.

The special deluxe release will feature two more tracks, Broken Places, and Invisible Hearts.

The Faim will be returning to the U.S. this Autumn for a massive co-headline tour with the fellow Aussie group, Stand Atlantic. Live Nation’s Ones To Watch and The Noise will present the entire run of dates (25 cities nationwide).

The band will then return to the UK and EU for headline dates, including London’s Electric Ballroom.

The trek continues to build on the quartet’s global touring momentum, where they’ve sold out their own headline shows, played major European festival staples, and supported the likes of PVRIS, Andy Black, Sleeping With Sirens, and more. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased on The Faim’s website.

Fast-rising talent Samm Henshaw has delivered slick new single ‘The World Is Mine’, via Columbia Records.

Sampling Nas’ 2002 classic ‘Made You Look’, ‘The World Is Mine’ comes draped in classic soul sensibilities.

With Henshaw’s smooth and commanding vocals present throughout, it’s a confident track that displays a musical maturity far beyond his years.

The track is produced by Pop & Oak, an award-winning songwriting and production duo who have worked with the likes of Miguel, Ariana Grande, Kehlani and Rihanna.

Tipped as one to watch in 2019 by YouTube, The Independent, Metro and Blues & Soul amongst others, Henshaw started the year in fine fashion, releasing the scintillating, gospel-infused hit ‘Church’ alongside Atlanta-based duo EARTHGANG. The track has amassed over 7 million Spotify streams to date and made it onto the BBC Radio 1 B-list.

It follows on from a sold-out performance at Electric Brixton in May and a headline show at Scala last October. Henshaw has previously toured and worked with artists on both sides of the Atlantic, including Chance The Rapper, Pharrell, Rag’n’Bone Man and Maverick Sabre – citing the likes of Lauryn Hill, John Legend, Michael Jackson and Marvin Gaye as key musical influences amongst his South London adolescence.

An artist seemingly destined for the top, Samm Henshaw displays the full extent of his musical talents on ‘The World Is Mine’.
