More:

KAMILLE is getting into the festive spirit early this year, dropping her brand-new Christmas song ‘Santa x4’, featuring up and coming R&B sensations Next Town Down.

About Santa x4, she says: “I’m in love with Christmas and everything that comes with it, I annoy everyone around me, I cook for everyone, I’d put up my tree from September if I could, I’m that extra! So, this year I decided I wanted to make a Christmas song, inspired by Boyz II Men, Mariah, Jodeci, some of my favourite RnB artists of all time. So, it was only right that I asked Next Town Down to duet with me on Santa x4, they’re so incredible and really brought that beautiful RnB feel I was dreaming of. I love the way we’re singing about being heartbroken at Christmas, which is something so many of us feel.”

Kamille heard Next Town Down recently being played on BBC Radio 1Xtra, and immediately wanted them to jump on her new track.

About their collaboration with Kamille, Next Town Down say: “It was so dope to collab with Kamille, who’s one of our favourite artists. Great Christmas music crosses borders, so to us, it’s exciting to work with someone killing it in the UK and overseas. Kamille’s voice, songwriting, and artistry made for a really special vibe that we are excited for the fans to hear.”

Kamille last month shared her huge single ‘Don’t Answer’ featuring Wiley, the first single to be released from the British singer and songwriting powerhouse’s forthcoming EP.

The single and following EP is set for release on her own label Pure Cut Records via BMG. ‘Don’t Answer’ follows KAMILLE’s popular releases with WSTRN, Wretch 32 & Dr Vades over the summer, as well as the massive heartbreak anthem ‘Easy Loving You’ with SG Lewis.

KAMILLE’s upcoming EP sees her team up with plenty of other brilliant collaborators to be revealed over the coming weeks.

KAMILLE’s time in the music business has seen her become one of Britain’s most successful female hit writers and producers, a multi-award-winner who has worked with scores of chart-topping acts. In the past year, KAMILLE has achieved two back-to-back Brit award-nominated UK #1 hits, while her songs have clocked up over 4 billion combined streams and hundreds of hours of radio airplay all over the world.

KAMILLE has also scored three top ten singles this year and achieved her 10th UK Platinum single; Mabel’s ‘Don’t Call Me Up’ as well as penning her radio smash ‘Mad Love’. She has written for forthcoming projects for the likes of Stormzy and Dua Lipa, as well as collaborating with the likes of Wretch 32, SG Lewis and WSTRN on their recent singles.

Lyrics:

Yeah I know it’s the season

when I’m supposed to be glad

but I can’t find a reason

when I’m missin you so bad

honestly I can see

you’re the best thing that I had

and I just want you back, oh

so I’m writin you this song

hope it makes it on your playlist

cos I couldn’t find

any other way to say this

I know u needed time

and I know I should be patient

but I just gotta tell u

cant deal wid all this fake shit

you know

every time it snows I think of u

every single winter I’m so blue

wish that I could hold u now

the way we used to do

got me callin Santa Santa Santa Santa Claus Claus Claus

I been actin like I’m good but I can’t take no more

singing Santa Santa Santa Santa Claus Claus Claus tonight

I wish that you were mine

yeah I tried watchin movies so I can get in the zone

home alone ain’t even funny when ur alone at home

I been walkin round with this fake smile

but everybody knows

don’t know why I let you go babe

so I’m writin you this song

hope it makes it on your playlist

cos I couldn’t find

any other way to say this

I know u needed time

and I know I should be patient

but I just gotta tell u

cant deal wid all this fake shit

you know

every time it snows I think of u

every single winter I’m so blue

wish that I could hold u now

the way we used to do

got me callin Santa Santa Santa Santa

Claus Claus Claus

I been actin like I’m good but I can’t take no more

singin Santa Santa Santa Santa

Claus Claus Claus tonight

I wish that you were mine

wish that you were mine

wish that I could take it back

just press rewind

back to the time when I was kissin ya

under the mistletoe

so I’m writin you this verse

hopin you know it’s about you

got a tree, can’t believe I’m decorating it without you

put you on my list, so Santa knows about you

yeah, need to put my arms around you

you know

every time it snows I think of u

every single winter I’m so blue

wish that I could hold u now

the way we used to do

got me callin Santa Santa Santa Santa

Claus Claus Claus

I been actin like I’m good but I can’t take no more

singin Santa Santa Santa Santa

Claus Claus Claus tonight

I wish that you were mine

Mabel drops another smashing hit entitled ‘Loneliest Time of Year.’

The song is memorable, and the songwriting is exceptional.

The music video is well-produced, and the colour grading is remarkable.

She sings from the heart.

The harmony between the vocals and instrumentation is intact.

More!

An effortless storyteller with a pure and unfiltered singing talent and songwriting ability, Mabel McVey has an instinctive gift of melody far beyond her twenty-three years.

Indeed, Mabel has made quite the impression since bursting on to the scene in September 2015 with her release ‘Know Me Better.’ Quietly released onto Mabel’s personal SoundCloud, the single didn’t remain a secret for long, putting the wheels in motion for Mabel to become a fresh and exciting name amongst a brand-new generation of r ‘n’ b chanteuses.

In the three since, Mabel’s growth (musically, emotionally, visually) has been extraordinary.

Her formative material led to the surprise breakthrough of ‘Finders Keepers’ in 2017, which went platinum, spent 5 weeks in the top 10, and saw Mabel nominated for her first BRIT Award (Critics’ Choice).

She has gone from playing nervous, intimate shows to touring with Harry Styles, selling out her own dates around the world (including London’s Brixton Academy) and has clocked up increasingly-surreal experiences en route (which includes playing Wembley Stadium in a Burberry catsuit and rainbow flag). Over two million single sales in the UK and over half a billion streams followed.

Mabel has emerged as one of the UK’s most positive, candid lyrical voices, with songs that frequently explore everything from identity, the challenges of modern relationships, and working out who you are and what you want.

More:

A country-pop singer/songwriter out of Knoxville, Tennessee, Kelsea Ballerini started writing songs when she was 13 years old, learned guitar a year later, and moved to Nashville at 15 to pursue her dream of being a professional singer and songwriter.

Four years later, when she was 19, Ballerini signed a publishing deal with Black River Publishing and a recording deal with Black River Entertainment later that same year.

A debut single, “Love Me Like You Mean It,” appeared from the label in 2014; the song slowly became a big hit, reaching number five on the Billboard country singles charts and number one on its country airplay charts.

A digital EP, simply titled Kelsea Ballerini, was released in November 2014, and as word about Ballerini spread, she was named one of 2014’s Next Women of Country by CMT and appeared on the Grand Ol’ Opry for the first time on February 13, 2015.

In May 2015, Black River released Ballerini’s first full-length album, The First Time; it debuted at four on Billboard’s U.S. country charts and 31 on the Billboard Top 200, eventually going gold.

In June 2017, Ballerini released “Legends,” the first single from her sophomore LP, Unapologetically, which appeared in November.

The following year saw Ballerini issue a deluxe version of the album that added four new tracks, including the single “Fun & Games.”

In 2019, she guested on Thomas Rhett’s single “Center Point Road.”

Lyrics:

Yeah, I like my friends

Yeah, I like tequila

I like puttin’ on a dress

And dancin’ with my feelings

I could be the life of any party

I can play along with anybody

But sorry

I don’t wanna go to the club

I don’t wanna watch everybody around me try to hook up

And say stuff they don’t mean

And get drunk and get cheap

So what’s wrong with me

Cause I don’t wanna go to the club

I already know it ain’t worth it in the morning

And yeah I like the high

I just don’t like payin’ for it

I’m stressin’ over conversations

But now that’s anxiety that I’m erasin’

Cause lately

I don’t wanna go to the club

I don’t wanna watch everybody around me try to hook up

And say stuff they don’t mean

And get drunk and get cheap

So what’s wrong with me

Cause I don’t wanna go to the club

I don’t wanna wake up on the floor of a bathroom

Lookin’ at the stamps on my hand like a tattoo

Say I’m never doin’ that again if I don’t have to

And I don’t have to go to the club

So I don’t wanna go to the club

I don’t wanna go to the club

I don’t wanna watch everybody around me try to hook up

And say stuff they don’t mean

And get drunk and get cheap

So what’s wrong with me

Cause I don’t wanna go to the club

I don’t wanna wake up on the floor of a bathroom

Lookin’ at the stamps on my hand like a tattoo

Say I’m never doin’ that again if I don’t have to

And I don’t have to go to the club
