Brayden Pierce has officially reinvented himself as SIDDHI KID [“city-kid”], and is unleashing a wild blend of electronic soul that showcases his fresh voice, songwriting and production style. Building upon his recent number one collaboration on Monstercat Records (lauded as: “vocals that are the cherry on top of a masterful tune” -By The Wavs), the Los Angeles local’s forthcoming debut album “Animalism” is an experimentation that brings to mind Daft Punk, AlunaGeorge and George Michael.

Brayden grew up with music in his blood and always knew that he wanted to be a musician. The St. Louis, Missouri-born Croatian/Indian artist was first introduced to music at the age of 5 when he took piano lessons, which lead him to play alto saxophone and guitar in middle school, all while publishing poems about baseball and his other childhood memories. He acted and sang in school, and soon came to LA where he guest-starred on several network TV shows, films, commercials. After several incarnations of bands, Brayden began in 2013 as the frontman of alternative indie electro dream rock band, KINGDØMS. They built a strong grassroots fanbase through live shows and local festivals … and in one year’s time started selling out SoCal venues alongside acts like: Imagine Dragons, Intergalactix, Azalea Banks, Jennifer Hudson, Lena Feyre, Magic Giant, Magic Bronson, Slugs. His music production skills developed while working with DJ James Kennedy and Grammy-nominated Pawel Sek (Empire of the Sun, Taylor Swift, Kanye West). Now, after accumulating a healthy number of songs in the studio, Pierce is ready to share himself as SIDDHI KID, where he writes, performs, composes, produces and mixes all of his music.

”Animalism” peers into the battle between the mind’s emotions and primal urges that define our very nature – perceivably human, but not so far from animalistic. His debut original single, “Deep In You” is getting a lot of play ever since it dropped in Summer 2017 by generating tons of word of mouth buzz in the LA music scene, highlighted by Noiseporn as “a dance floor-ready jam … style is the key word”, and included on Spotify’s hottest summer playlists. The new music video by Thomas Trail (The Naked and Famous, Steve Aoki, Alma, Nervo) is about SIDDHI KID exploring his sexual appetite with a female love interest that shares the same sexual appetite. She left a mark on his soul he can’t shake that compelled him to reminisce the experience. The video is now LIVE on VEVO with a major feature placement on VEVO as of Sep 18.
