Andreas Kanellos is a young singer-songwriter from Greece, Lefkada island, who writes pop, dance and pop-rock songs (with lyrics in Greek or English). He is mainly characterized by his melodic ballads and emotional, touching, somewhat intimate way of singing.

His first ballad in Greek “Gia Sena” – “For You” (recorded only with piano at the time) had noticeable response from Greek audience on YouTube, reaching over 100,000 views. Andreas was contacted by several local radio stations of Greece and Germany in 2010 to air the song. Although the ballad had absolutely no promotion or marketing behind it, “Gia Sena” got many positive comments; which was quite unusual for a piano song.

Andreas’ self-written and self-arranged dance song “Esi ki Ego” (“You and Me”) was successful with FM-radio listeners in Russia and Ukraine. The single was twice in Top 40 of “TopHit Audience Choice”. (TopHit is the most powerful airplay chart provider in Russian territory)…

Wayne William is a Maltese singer/songwriter and music producer. He began performing professionally at the age of thirteen and fell in love with writing. Wayne lives and breathes music. He is incredibly dedicated to writing and producing his own compositions to perfection. “The style of my music, as you know it today, didn’t happen overnight,” he states. “It was years of searching and developing my skills, performing with different bands and studying at Berklee Music until finally discovering my sound”. It’s always been my passion to write music with musical and lyrical depth. I want to create songs that my fans can relate to and understand. I want my music to speak to people and their lives.”

Wayne William’s life was always filled with music. His father was a well-known musician in Malta and his mother, a dancer. His parents shared their love for music with Wayne and his siblings. As a child, he studied music and learned to play the piano. “My dad was always strict with us, “says Wayne, “and made us practice every day. I’m thankful now that he always pushed me to sing better, to play better, and to perform better.” Wayne was only seven when he and his siblings had their first performance with their father’s band. Wayne still enjoys playing regularly with his sister and two brothers.

After performing with the Mics and returning home from a UK tour with the former band “Castaway,” Wayne launched his solo career as an artist. He has taken part in local and international festivals.

Wayne loves performing live, and has performed in concerts across the UK and Malta. His singles have been well received on the Islands, while reaching top positions on radio charts.

Wayne and his brother, Richard Edwards, created Battle of the Brothers, benefit concerts for Malta’s Puttinu Cares. The charity, Puttinu Cares, helps children with cancer get the treatment they need. “It all started with Rainbow Ward and seeing the kids,” describes Wayne. “Straight afterwards Rich and I knew we wanted to get involved. We’re really passionate about this charity and Battle of the Brothers. It’s a great experience to connect with our fans in this way and lend a hand to the kids who benefit from Puttinu.”

Wayne has dedicated his entire life to music. It’s his ambition to have success with it wherever life leads him and most importantly for people to enjoy the music.

“I feel that this is just the start for me, “says Wayne.” And I’m looking forward to the future and what happens next.”

Wiyaala – Make Me Dance

Wiyaala, Ghana’s latest musical sensation forges her way into the worldwide market with Afro-Pop single, “Make Me Dance.”

Noella Wiyaala, or simply Wiyaala, is a personification of modern Africa: creative, brave, strong, beautiful. The singer/songwriter from the Upper West of Ghana infuses the giant pop sounds of David Foster with the modern funk and flair of Janelle Monae. Wiyaala now brings her own powerful voice and bold image to the world with “Make Me Dance” through Djimba World Records.

“Make Me Dance” is a dance anthem of a new club season, perfectly working on radio, designed for a sing-along… The acoustic version of “Make Me Dance” makes the song sound even deeper and more touching.

Wiyaala’s music isn’t the only thing she works hard at though. Her name, Wiyaala, literally translates to “the doer” in Sissala, her tribal language in which she sings alongside English, and perfectly describes her approach to life. She is an artist, designer, actress, model, natural athlete, and an ambassador of African culture.

Wiyaala is also known for standing up for women’s rights, having a very distinctive androgynous image herself. She would often get called “man-woman” by the boys in grade school but would also be the first to lead the boys and girls into the bushes for wild hunts. Wiyaala is Tina Turner of Ghana, just less feminine.

Growing up my Mum had a major impact on my musical taste and introduced me to a whole spectrum, everything from Patsy Kline and Dionne Warwick to eighties pop bands like The Bangles, UB40 and Madonna. (I LOVED ‘80’s Kylie as well so I blame my mother). I would spend hours making up routines and willingly sing to Mum, Dad, Nan, Granddad whoever would listen. My brother tried to influence me with Nirvana, Green Day, Blur and The Beatles and my Dad fought his corner for David Bowie and The Who. Altogether, it was a pretty eclectic household Madonna was my absolute idol so it was natural that the first song I ever sang at a school talent show was called Promise to Try. I was absolutely petrified but I had the most amazing feeling once I got through the song. I took to singing good ‘warblers’ like Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston as I got older and my voice (slightly) matured. At the time it was just a bit of fun, but when I was asked to fill in for someone at the Duke of Edinburgh awards at the Barbican, I started to believe that I could do this professionally Not long after this, I got spotted at a charity event by a ‘60’s band that was looking for a female singer. It was a great opportunity and I did the pub circuit for a couple of years when I was sixteen. I put it on hold when I went to university but it wasn’t long before opportunity came knocking at my door in the form of Darren (McKiernan, my producer and school friend), who called me to say that he had set up a studio. We started recording various tracks and suddenly realised we had loads of songs. Eighteen months later, here we were with an album…

Few DJs have risen faster than Martin Garrix. In 2013, when he was just 16, the Dutch dance-music fan (born Martijn Garritsen in May 1996) paid for his ticket to Miami’s Ultra Music Festival, along with 330,000 other attendees; the following year, he performed there — and also at Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, and Tomorrowland.

The catalyst was his breakout hit, “Animals,” an electro-house anthem that sent shockwaves through EDM, setting the tone for several years’ worth of big-room bangers. (It also got the attention of Justin Bieber manager Scooter Braun, who scooped up the teenaged producer for his roster.)

By the time Garrix was 20, DJ Magazine named him the world’s No. 1 DJ. Since then, he has straddled dance cred and pop crossover, collaborating with fellow DJs Dillon Francis, Hardwell, and Tiësto (Garrix’s mentor and early champion) as well as Usher, Ed Sheeran, and Dua Lipa. He’s come a long way from the savagery of “Animals”: One of his signature moves, in songs like “In the Name of Love,” with Bebe Rexha, or “Ocean,” with Khalid, is something like the EDM equivalent of the power ballad: taking a silky, sensitive mood and building up the synths and drums until they sound all but indestructible.

Anna Wolf – Believer

Anna Wolf creates alternative music with lyrics that are layered with a poignancy that she uses to hypnotize audiences on a journey of self-discovery that leave you with the feeling of being heard. Wolf’s debut single ‘Believer’ delves into her turbulent early life and how she refused to become the victim of her circumstance. Anna Wolf created the track in a bathtub and sent the recording to a world-renowned producer who cleared his schedule and summoned her to his studio. Some of the noise she made in the tub, made it into ‘Believer’’s explosive final mix.

Tell us your real names, country of birth and childhood experience.

I was born Pretoria, South Africa. As a child I hid away a lot, either under beds or in trees. I escaped by using my hands and body to melt and hide into my own skin. I use to listen to music then. Music became my armour, my strength. Soon enough, I realized that it was safe for my skin to come out and breath. I wrote ‘Believer’ as my debut single track in a bathtub. I stumped my feet so loud in the bath that the neighbours banged on the front door. You can hear it if you listen carefully to the track. I am ready to shed my past now. I am Anna Wolf, and this is ‘Believer’.

Elaborate on your music career, band name, experience and skills.

Wolf was born in Pretoria, South Africa, to a nurturing mother and a troubled father. Her childhood was a nomadic series of events often inspired by her father’s demons chasing their family to leave town in a blind hurry. Her early music reflected a deep hurt that translated into an aggressive stage performance and eventually matured in her hypnotic stage persona. In her early career, Wolf took part in talent shows and signed her first record deal at age fifteen with Gresham Records as the front-woman for her then band Mel-funktion. Her singles: ‘Take Me Away’ and ‘Breath On Me’ topped South Africa’s single charts and she was noticed by fans and industry professionals alike. Wolf, as the front-woman for Mel-funktion, toured South Africa and played in various iconic venues. This multi-talented woman was honoured by Global Harmony as an asset to South African culture and commissioned to represent South Africa in Japan where she performed in front of Japanese Ministers of State. In 2007 she signed her first publishing deal with Active Music and honed her song writing and composer skills on multiple media platforms. In 2012 the artist was signed to South Africa’s leading record label, Just Music. She worked with industry legend Karl Anderson and producer Matthew Fink to establish her previous performance persona, Tailor. Wolf aka Tailor’s 2013 debut album, The Dark Horse, was nominated for two SAMA’s (South African Music Awards), she received another 2015 SAMA nomination for her second album Light, and a 2017 SAMA nomination for her latest album Trust Pt. 1. In 2015 she was signed to South Africa’s top management company Real Concerts and worked with company founder, Roddy Quin, to build her as an international act. In 2016 Wolf aka Tailor recorded her third album titled Trust Pt. 1 with producer Zak Loy (lead guitarist for the multi-platinum American band, LIVE) in Austin Texas at the infamous recording facilities, Orb studios. Tailor collaborated on Trust Pt. 1 with various musicians ranging from bassist, Ainar Peterson (Kelly Clarkson) to drummer, Antoun Ramy (Seal, Black Eyed Peas) amongst others. She was asked to collaborate live and/or in studio with various world renowned performers, producers and industry leaders such as LIVE front man, Ed Kowalczyk’s, Ken Stringfellow from R.E.M, American band; Kongos, and Grammy nominated music producer Tim Palmer (David Bowie, Pearl Jam, U2). Wolf recently also collaborated with the drummer from Stereophonics, Jamie Morrison and producer Pete Boxta Martin (Sugababes, Jesse J, DJ Marshmellow) with Sony-BMG signed songwriter Dantae Johnson. Tailor’s singles, Shaped like a Gun and the track, Wolf from her album The Dark Horse featured on FOX Network’s hit show, So You Think You Can Dance, for 2 seasons.  She performed solo shows at various iconic London venues, including The Bedford, The Troubadour and The Half Moon and performed in high profile festivals including Austin Texas SXSW, South African’s OppiKoppi and The Real Concert Series in The United Kingdom and South Africa. In 2017 she was asked to open for Johnny Clegg on his final tour played to sold-out audiences in South Africa and London’s exemplary Apollo Theatre in Hammersmith. During 2018 Wolf aka Tailor toured South Africa to sold-out venues, and proved to draw crowds in the United Kingdom and her demand in Europe is steadily increasing and she was commissioned to perform in the Netherlands. She was also asked to join the infamous American band, The Posies, on their 30th anniversary tour across the United Kingdom. In 2018 she followed her heart to London where her talent as a songwriter and performer was recognized by producer and remixer Pete Boxta Martin and Sony-BMG signed songwriter Dantae Johnson. They offered her a production deal under their company Three Bears Entertainment the day after she sent Boxta Martin a cell phone video of a song she wrote and performed in an acoustically unique bathtub. ‘Believer’ was born in studio that week, and some of the noise Wolf made in the tub even made it into Boxta Martin and Johnson’s explosive final mix. Boxta Martin and Dantae Johnson were ignited to create an EP with Wolf that they are currently busy recording.

Sandhja – Sing It Away

Sandhja is a half Finnish, half Indian woman – a mix of the north and east. She composes and writes her lyrics. She wants to be free to say what she truly feels and hopes to arouse emotions in her listeners.

Sincerity is the keystone of her music. Roots of Sandhja’s music springs from her mother’s side, from Guyana, South-America. Her grandmother from two generations ago was a locally known singer who sang in weddings and funerals. Singing was a way of releasing the pains of her hard life. Her parents were forced by the British to leave their homeland India to work in the sugarcane fields in South America; Sandhja’s great grandmother was born in the ship leaving from India to Guyana.

As an artist Sandhja sees herself as her great grandmother’s successor; as an interpreter of deep emotions believing in the empowering and healing nature of music.

Her first single “Hold Me” became a huge hit and the story continued with the following single “Gold”. Her debut album “Gold” was released 2014. Sandhja represents Finland in the Eurovision song contest in May with her latest single “Sing It Away”…

Tito Jackson + Big Daddy Kane – Get It Baby

Tito Jackson + Big Daddy Kane – Get It Baby

Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson’s poetic lyrics, irrepressible vocals, and evocative musicianship are a faint reflection of the remarkable gifts that characterize Gary, Indiana’s native son. Born Toriano Adaryll Jackson, Tito has spent his entire life enchanting music lovers with soulful harmonies interwoven with curvaceous rhythms as a member of Motown’s greatest discovery, The Jacksons (Jackson 5), and presently as a multi-faceted solo artist. Tito’s unyielding passion for blues, R&B, pop, and other music forms is the secret to his boundless energy and rare achievements in the ever-changing entertainment spectrum.

In 1962, before the Jackson 5 and the Jacksons, Tito performed in a local group called The Jackson Brothers. After competing and winning local talent shows in and around Gary, the precocious brothers were victorious again on the most prestigious amateur stage of all – Manhattan’s Apollo Theater. In that same year Tito and his brothers made their first studio recording (local label), titled “Big Boy.” Not only did it turn out to be a local hit, but it set the stage for a partnership with Motown Records (1969) and subsequent appearances on the top-rated Ed Sullivan Show, American Bandstand, Soul Train, and later, their own primetime television series in 1976, on CBS. In addition to this, Tito and his brothers’ soaring popularity with America’s youth was so captivating that they were captioned in a Saturday morning, ABC TV animation series.

Tito and his brothers signed with Epic Records and officially came under a new name, The Jacksons, in 1976. In 1978 he co-wrote the songs “Everybody,” “Destiny,” and “Push Away” for his new record label. As the group The Jackson’s, including Tito, they self-produced the Destiny album. Later, for the Victory album Tito produced, wrote, and sang on “We Can Change The World,” which was featured on their popular Victory Tour.

A father of three men (Taj, Taryll, and TJ), known to the music world as 3T, Tito works closely with his sons. This is consistent with the fine direction that he received from his loving mother Katherine and his caring father Joe. In addition to working with sisters Janet, Rebbie, and La Toya, Tito has worked with countless fine musicians, singers, and producers, such as the preeminent production team of Gamble & Huff, LA Reid & Baby Face, and the versatile Howard Hewitt.

One of the performing highlights of the remarkable career of Tito Jackson is the unforgettable reunion performance on one of histories most watched television specials, Motown 25. The show signalled a pivotal point in his dazzling career and an auspicious focus on likely the greatest performer to ever grace a stage, Michael Jackson. In 1997 Tito and his brothers were ceremonially honoured as inductees of the well-respected Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Tito’s initial success with the recording masterpieces “I Want You Back,” “Never Can Say Goodbye”, “I’ll Be There,” (best-selling single in Motown’s history), and other mega-hits is the genesis of an indefatigable trek into modern musical immortality. Tito Jackson’s eclectic musical arrow is aimed in the direction of diverse genres, R& B, blues, and pop. And at this juncture, Tito plans a series of recording ventures that will include a solo debut album featuring a caravan of styles. Although some of his numerous influences include blues greats Albert Collins and B.B. King, in reality his musical tastes defy nomenclature. Some projects will include collaborations with his son’s group, 3T, while other CD’s may involve his creative siblings along with collaborations from an assemblage of noteworthy artists. However, make no mistake about it, most of his work will consist of impressive solo projects with songs that are arranged, produced, and performed by Tito himself.

The measure of Tito Jackson’s influence can be best captured by expressions such as these: “One of the kindest, more pleasant people in show business,” said a major entertainment publicist. His brother Michael also had this to say about him, “Tito is very quiet and soft, but can be really strong when necessary. He’s always there when we need him and manages to project an inner calm which is vital within a family unit”. Those statements have proven to be consistently true through the ups and downs of the exciting but rigorous show business lifestyle. As an international artist, the demure Tito has garnered great respect from his peers and fans alike. His emphasis on fairness and loyalty in the music business community is a hallmark of his aplomb and selfless style.

Tito’s love of music can be transcended only by his undying love of God, family, and friends. Tito’s mark on music history and the rich legacy that he established is one that has stood the test of time and is one that will flourish for as long as there is a song to sing!
