In approximately 2010, I began writing poetry due to a difficult and emotional time in my life.
In December of 2014, I was encouraged to start writing lyrics. Since then, I have focused on improving my writing skills with each composition that I create and hope to connect with others.
My vision is to cover the universal concepts of love and heartbreak.
Moreover, I have been recognized for my work by the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, UK Songwriting Contest, American Songwriting Awards, Dallas Songwriting Association, The 15th Annual Independent Music Awards, and in 2018 was honored to join the 16th Annual Independent Music Awards Nominating Panel, in the Love Category.

The story behind this song is about a female who expresses her feelings to her partner and admires how he’s been there every step of the way.

As a lyricist, I find that it is difficult to attain fans; possibly due to the inability to perform as well.

I feel that my musical career is somewhat limited. However, my experiences in this musical journey have been a great adventure, and have exceeded my expectations; due to the ability to submit to different online platforms.
My future goals are to grow as a lyricist and someday be recognized for my work.

What I find most that inspire me to write are my past and present experiences, as well as, listening to great music.

I really wish I had the answer to the top-secret behind making a hit song, but unfortunately, I don’t have one.

I would advise any upcoming artist to not get discouraged and give up.
If they have any doubts about their work, they should consider submitting it to an online platform to have it evaluated by a professional before moving forward.

My musical career is somewhat different from a singer, as I do not perform. However, it allows me to dedicate more time to writing. Though I’ve written many songs, I’ve only had 13 of them recorded.

I usually write my lyrics in one sitting, and gradually do some minor editing until I feel ready to submit my lyrics for full production. I also provide a sample of a hit song for reference.
