Go into detail on why you decide to choose music as a career.
Music has always been a release for me, and I love the process of creation & creativity. I enjoy listening to a lot of different genres other than what I produce to gain insight and understanding of how artists approach their tracks. This journey is a never-ending learning experience, and isn’t that what life is all about? Learning and growing!

Brief us the feedback you are getting from fans concerning your music.
They tell me that with every track I get better and more mature with my sound that I’m creating. I also get a lot of support to drop the unreleased music I play for them.

Discuss the relevance of social networking to music.
It’s just great to utilize it to reach new ears that you couldn’t have reached on your own or with word of mouth. Also to keep your fans updated with everything that’s going on in your career.

Brief us about the recording of this song.
I and my homeboy Chex recorded this track at the Ward 3 studio in New Jersey in about an hour of writing and bouncing ideas back and forth.

Tell us the story behind the song.
Basically, just a flex, a Lil insight of our lives from two fly guys ya feel me.

State your area of specialization in music.
Primarily hip-hop & cloud rap.

Tell us how long it takes to finish a song from the start.
It all depends on how I’m feeling at the time, where I’m at, who I’m with, etc. It can be anywhere from a few hours to weeks.

Go into detail on how you develop your lyrics and melody.
I sort of just start rhyming and getting a flow off of the production’s vibe and then I start to gather my thoughts together on how to paint the picture I want to convey.

Discuss music generally in full detail.
Music is life, love, and expression; on so many different levels I can’t even grasp the words to explain honestly haha. I just can say that without music, I wouldn’t know what I’d be doing. Music saves me every single day.

State your five favorite genres of music.
Orchestra, Hip-Hop, Alternative Rock, R&B, Jazz. Growing up, I listened to a lot of classic, old-school Soul, R&B & Jazz because of my mother. Being a kid, I listened to so many orchestral cues in video games that I just fell in love with the vast and vivid songwriting. From there I ventured off into Rock & Punk before I slowly dug deep into the underground Hip-Hop scene, and here I am today, producing it.

Discuss your rehearsal.
Soundcheck to make sure everything sounds good level-wise, warm up for a few times, and then I’m ready to go.

State your favorite musical instruments.
Drums, Pan Flute & Harp.

Describe the chemistry between you and your fans during a live performance.
Whenever I perform I try to get the crowd involved and interact with them during the show. I feed off of them and they feed off of me, but we all have a great time regardless!

Discuss your personality in full detail.
I’m a pretty quiet person outside of making music… very mellow & like to keep to myself.

Tell us about your musical background.
I came from being a Jersey Club producer and DJ when I was younger in high school. I’ve done tons of events, local and tri-state, and had a pretty good following at the time. Now it’s time to reach new audiences and new ears with my fresh sound.

List your musical work.
Trappin Soul EP, Dream Zone, and a couple of singles, SSG Freestyle, Feng Shui, and Steez.

Share your memorable experiences with us.
So many parties with my crew turned up having a good time, especially the crazy moments. Can’t give out too much info though.

State your artist’s name and elaborate on it.
Infamuz. That derives from my old stage name, The Infamous Dj Tev.

State the title of the song and the meaning.
“Steez”. Basically means your steelo, your swagger, sauce, drip, whatever you want to call it.

State the title of the album and the reason for picking the title.
My project name is still in the works, but I can give a small hint: it’s influenced by the fashion era of the late 2000s.
