Tell us your genre and idea behind your music video/song.
My music genre is pop. Sleepwalkin is a trance-y pop song about being stuck in a dream-like state and being unable to move on from a past relationship. The song emulates how days can roll into each other while you pass from one day to the next in a foggy daze. The backbone of the song is the piano and built around it are ambient synths, a trance-y beat that continues with only very slight variation.

Explain the story behind the song.
I felt I was in a very stuck place when I wrote “Sleepwalkin”, like every day was the same and the song is about being unable to move on from a past relationship and feeling like you are sleepwalking through your life.

I write it, sing it, and produce my songs myself using Ableton Live.

The music video will be out by early October 2018. I am in really cute pajamas with a unicorn sleep mask which now has become a logo for the song (haha;)) in my poofy pink Barbie slipper heels; I perform the song from the tub, bed, and outdoors walking. It’s a super cool video!!!

I have been in the music business for the past 4 1/2 years. I have been playing piano for over 12 years. I started pursuing music as a career and songwriting when I was 13.
Tell us what makes you unique from others.
I would say what makes me unique is that I write, sing, arrange, and produce all of my songs by myself. Everything is recorded in my living room and since I was homeschooled, I have been able to focus completely on my musical skill set with no distractions.
