Tell us your real names, country of birth, date of birth, and childhood experience.
My full name is Laura Jo Cahill, I was born in London on the 22nd of February 1998. I grew up with 4 other siblings all older, 3 sisters and 1 brother. My family has always been musically gifted, everyone has their own talent. My mother is a DJ and my father loves to make musical beats.

Tell us about your music career, your band name, musical background, experience, and skills.
My music career started when I was 16 years old after I left school. I can play the keyboard, sing and write my own songs. I was always too shy to open up in school and sing in front of everyone but I knew it was what I wanted to do, so I went to record two songs under the name ‘Laura Jo’. I didn’t have a great start to my career as the people who were supposed to help me ended up being illegitimate and were only in it for the money. This pushed my confidence back a lot and I actually stopped pursuing my career, but never stopped dreaming I would one day be a successful artist touring different places around the world singing to loads of people. Thanks to the support of my family and friends and decided to carry on and am now in the process of helping producers by adding some vocals on their tracks and I have also been approached by a band to sing a song they have written which is so amazing. I also decided to carry on putting out dance with me tonight and a music production and development company took over and are helping mend the mistakes the previous ones did, and are going to give it the proper release it deserves.

Tell us about your genre, concept, and idea behind your music video and the song.
When I made dance with me tonight I aimed for it to be a pop/dance number, as I was always used to making slow ballad songs but I really wanted to make something fun and upbeat for people to enjoy. Unfortunately, I never got around to making a music video (even though I would LOVE to) due to all the complications I faced during the process.

Tell us everything that we need to know about you as a musician and the ups and downs you have faced in the music business.
I experienced downs at the start of my music career where I didn’t have any knowledge on anything which really put my confidence down, but I still continued to go on and now I was offered some help on releasing this song the way it deserves to be. Because of this, I have been given multiple opportunities to work with loads of different producers and artists and I am now in the process of recording more and more music which will lead to gigs, which is really exciting.

Tell us how long you have been in the music industry, your experience, and your future goal.
When I started I was 16 and I only had my mum to help me so we had no knowledge of what we were going into. As I said, I didn’t have the best experience but I pushed myself to make something positive out of it and that’s exactly what happened all because I didn’t give up. My goal is to become a well-known artist with hopes of even going on tour one day and exploring different parts of the world meeting all different people with the same love of music.

Tell us what inspires you to write, compose and sing.
What inspires me to write and sing is the feeling I get when I’m performing, it’s exciting and fun and it gives you a sense of achievement. It gives you a way to express yourself positively and makes others happy too.

Tell us the secret behind making a hit song.
The secret behind making a hit song is to make sure you’re having fun! Think about what people would want to hear but make sure it’s something you enjoy performing as well. Surround yourself with positive people and it should just flow.

Tell us the message you will like to pass to your fans out there.
A message I would like to give to my fans is just to say thank you for all the support, keep on liking and sharing my music, and thank you for sticking by me. More music will be put out soon!

Tell me the piece of advice you will give to an upcoming artist.
The advice I would like to give to upcoming artists is to not give up and if someone tries to put you down do not let them. If music is what motivates you to get out of bed in the morning and if it is the only way of life that will bring you true happiness, as tiring as it may be and as low as you may get, stick to it and never ever give up.

List Radio or TV Stations that are airing your songs and blogs that have featured you as well and send messages to them via this platform.
Broadtube music is the first blog to give my song a chance and recognition which means so much! I cannot thank them enough for the positivity.

Tell us how you write your lyrics, compose, sing and record in the studio.
I write my lyrics alone, just any ideas that come to me and I feel fit the track. Once I feel it’s ready I go to the studio and record, adding any tweaks or new Ideas I feel need to be added there and then.

Name the five biggest artists that you like.
I cannot pick five specific artists that I love and it’s always changing but my number one favorite has to be Rihanna and I have been listening to a lot of Demi Lovato recently and Nicki Minaj.

Name the artists you have collaborated with before in your songs or artists you are willing to collaborate with in the future if you have the chance to do so.
I am currently collaborating with a band called The Roofs and I would love to collaborate with the artists above of course but I’m open to collaborating with anyone!

Tell us about your happiest day and saddest day.
The happiest day so far was when I wrote and finished recording “Dance With Me Tonight” I was so proud of myself and didn’t realize I could do something like it. The saddest day was when my dog passed away, we had her for 14 years.
