I am inspired by real events. ‘In the Field’ is a meeting with a girl in the countryside in Germany in the city of Bonn near the river.

I have recorded with many artists like Pavel Urkiza in a Cuban film “Las Noches De Constantinopla,” songs like The number 2 of the Cuban singer Yusa, the albums Te vi nacer “and” La FRONTERA “by Barbaro Fines y Su Mayimbe and my Cuban music singles with my band Norberto Valdés and Gods Timba, I am YOUR Type, El Terrible, La Tortura plus a jazz single called Vuelve (Todo Esta Bien) in all these I have recorded the bass and there are others but I think these are the most significant.

Well in my case it’s easy to record but it makes me uncomfortable when they call me to record for free.

My mistake is that I have all these music stored since 2000 and I did not know what to do until I decided in 2017 to release them…

First I feel them and I record them on the cell phone, then I write and listen, I start to mold them until I feel goosebumps, right and ready to master and distribute so that those who listen to them always want to hear it.
