Sciarra – Love On The Line

Tell us your real names, country of birth, date of birth, and childhood experience.
I go by Sciarra and I am from California in the United States. I was born on August 29th. I grew up in Anaheim near Disneyland which I used to go to every weekend when I was a teenager. It’s my favorite place.

Tell us about your music career, your band name, musical background, experience, and skills.
When I was younger, I loved singing so my parents decided to put me in singing lessons. This eventually leads to performing at different music events and creating my own original music.

Tell us about your genre, concept, and idea behind your music video and the song.
This particular song is a hybrid of pop and a hard-hitting trap drop. I love mixing different genres of music because I grew up on so many different styles of music from artists like Nine Inch Nails to pop artists such as Lily Allen. This song was an opportunity to create a catchy pop song with an underground trap vibe.

Tell us everything that we need to know about you as a musician and the ups and downs you have faced in the music business.
I have gone through various styles of music and projects. I went from doing pop and rock music to eventually moving over to electronic music. It has been a journey of trying to find myself as an artist and what route I want to go musically.  I think that is the biggest challenge as an artist is finding your own sound and voice.

Tell us about other members of your band, music producer, crew, or music video director, how the song was recorded, and how the music video was shot.
I am currently working on a music video for this song. I will defiantly let everyone know when it is released. This song was recorded at my home studio in Los Angeles. I and my co-producer AJ Afterparty had already worked on the instrumental of the song before writing the lyrics and melody. After we were done with the instrumental, we had one writing session with my co-writer, Brooke Tomlinson, then I recorded the song within a few hours and from there we finished the song.

Tell us how long you have been in the music industry, your experience, and your future goal.
I have been in the music industry doing original music for about 7 years. My future goal is to tour the world.

Tell us what inspires you to write, compose and sing.
I am extremely inspired by the different artists I look up to. I am also inspired by life experiences and being able to share those in my songs to relate and help other people to get through their downtime.

Tell us the secret behind making a hit song.
I think the secret is writing a song that is authentic and relatable.

Tell us the message you will like to pass to your fans out there.
I would like to pass on that everyone has a voice to make a change in the world. Don’t be afraid to speak up and take action.

Tell us the piece of advice you will give to an upcoming artist.
My best advice is to educate yourself as much as you can within the music business. Also, make sure that you have a good team of people around you.

Elaborate on your music careers, albums, songs, tours, recognition, or awards you might have obtained.
This past year my first single  “Afterglow”  I released made it as a semi-finalist in The Independent Songwriting Competition.

Tell us how you write your lyrics, compose, sing and record in the studio.
I usually start off working on an instrumental. From there, I write the melodies then plugin in the lyrics.

Name the five biggest artists that you like.
Crystal Castles, Nero, Lana Del Rey, Kiiara, and Julia Michaels.

Name the artists you have collaborated with before in your songs or artists you are willing to collaborate with in the future if you have the chance to do so.
I would love to collaborate with Nero or Crystal Castles.
