Tell us how you come about the song.

I have long been a supporter of justice and civil rights, and when I heard the beat for the first time it came pretty quickly and the content was already there because this was how I feel about the climate of social injustice we live in today.

Tell us about you as a person outside the musical world.

Outside of the musical world, I run my own stock trading business, I enjoy investing.  That is a major way for me to fund my projects.

.

.

.

I have been actually rhyming since I was 8 years old, played trumpet when I was younger.  I have written music for up and coming artist as well as it is second nature to write music at this point.

.

.

Multitasking is the only way to operate.  I have got used to the hustle of the music grind and try and get as much help as possible if needed.  Keep it humble.

.

.

Tell us your future plans pertaining music.

My plan is to continue dropping projects, mixtapes, and prompting the thought process that artists need to take their careers into their own hands rather than waiting for someone to give them anything.  My discussion regarding trading for a living pin points how to create your own funds for your own projects.  Music is second nature so I’m not sure it will stop….EVER.

.

.

.

Tell us what motivates you to write songs.

Good Production, good concepts and a plan to execute.

(Honestly doesn’t take much motivation for me, I love music).

Tell us what you think about creativity and originality in music.

Creativity and originality is my only thought process when creating music.  The copying of styles has got out of control a bit.  If you create your own style and own lane you can sincerely be yourself.

Tell us your view on old school music and new school music in terms of preference.
It just depends on the substance of the music, I enjoy new artists as much as the old ones when there is a reason I am listening to their music.  There seemed to be more conscious material back in the day but it’s still out there today, you just got to find it.

.

.

.

Tell us your most memorable day as an artist.

My most memorable day as an artist was after a performance a fan came up to me and informed me that a particular song I did prevented them from committing suicide.  That moment stands out more than any huge audience I have performed in front of, or any accolade I have gotten.

.

.

.

Tell us your genre of music.

My genre would be Hip Hop (Pure and Unadulterated).

.

.

.

Tell us how you write and record your songs.

I normally listen to a beat for a LONG time.  Literally drive around my block or whatever city I am in for HOURS to vibe to the material.  I normally will hum how I want a song to go way before I even put the pen to the paper.  Once I figure that out and figure out the concept I just writing.  Recording process is pretty fast.  I lay down lead vocals, add about an overdub or two and spend most of my time structuring the production more-so than actually recording it.

Put on as many talented, hungry, and meaningful artists as possible.  Teach people how to acquire success independently.
