Share your life story with us.
I was raised in Carthage, Texas; a small town on the east of Texas. I lived with my momma, brother, and sister.  My parents divorced when I was 12 years old so I was inspired to be the man of the house whether it’s helping her clean or buy shit from stores to resell for profit; I have been a hustler since and thriving to become something I aspired, and my focus at the moment is to change my mother’s life for good…

List the names of those that have supported you so far in your music career and use this opportunity to thank them.
Since 2014, I had much support from my brother Zayvionn every year we improved and never gave up on what we going for!
My mother has always been the support of my life because she wants this as I would do anything in the world to keep her happy.
Also, I’ve had a lot of support from close friends peers, and people I don’t even know but I appreciate all the love and support because without them I wouldn’t be who I am today!

Narrate your experience while recording in the studio or while touring.
The process for “The Baddest” was crazy! I think I was in the studio for a whole day nonstop putting it together because I have seen potential in it as I was recording.
It’s a catchy vibe and I feel like when most people hear it they can almost relate to the situation…

Discuss your songwriting.
My songwriting is simple, whether I make a beat or get one sent to me, the first thing is figuring out what the topic of the whole song is going to be and if it correlates with the sound and melody then I freestyle the song to get a feel on what it should sound like.
I go back and pull things to work off of the freestyle…
I will just write the bar for the bar as I play the beat and rap to it.
I will just keep coming up with new lines then I will replay the beat over and over till the song is complete!

Elaborate on your future projects.
I’m getting ready to release my EP’s, Mixtapes, and eventually a Debut Album this year.
I don’t want to go too deep into the names and release dates yet but it’s going to be amazing.
I have been having people hit me up like “when you dropping that” or “when you dropping this” it’s crazy but it just lets me know I got eyes on me so I got to go 100 the whole mile.

Tell us what you are doing to increase your fan base.
Interacting with my fans, letting them know I care about them, talking to them, and building relationships so as I grow I have a strong fundamental that will push me for greatness in the long run!

Tell us that point in time you wanted to give up on your music career.
I had plenty of moments that thought came to mind, like at least 50 times in a year but my people keep me going, my momma keeps me motivated.
I’m a businessman, I like to move in business and build so you do not give up on something you grew up wanting to be so it’s like are you willing to take the necessary actions to make it come to life? I keep asking myself that question daily and that has kept me strong and passionate to make a living for myself and my family.

Go into detail on how you make your instrumentation or melody.
I make my sounds based on my emotions and feelings. I move off the energy of my heart and soul when I make a melody I just play what sounds good and grasping to the ear…

Tell us your complete understanding of music licensing.
Music licensing is the licensed use of copyrighted music. Music licensing is intended to ensure that the owners of copyrights on musical works are compensated for certain uses of their work.
A purchaser has limited rights to use the work without a separate agreement.

State your favorite genre of music.

Tell us the theme of most of your songs.
Every song I make has a story behind it. In most of my songs, I put out I try to motivate someone or y’all about shit I know people go thru in life but don’t have the voice or platform to express it.

Elaborate on this song.
Basically on the song ‘The Baddest’ I was in college at that point and I had just left for lunch and I saw this one chick I never seen her before and she was looking good but she was walking alone and I saw everybody else with somebody but she was just alone so I’m thinking like maybe she was just antisocial or hurt in a way so my intention was to walk up to see what was going on and at that moment that’s really were the chorus fell together “baby you the baddest I got to see the status wanna put you in a palace.”

Discuss digital distribution and streaming.
I currently use Distrokid as my digital distribution because the pricing is just outrageous and being able to release an unlimited amount of music and profit from it makes me look that much more like a serious artist rather than someone that’s just rapping because I take this music to heart like this is really what I do and this is really what I am inspired to be.
This is the gateway for me to release myself, my feelings, and my thoughts.
Music is the outlet and I love to express it for other people to relate to and listen to as well.

Tell us numerous ways that artists can boost their revenue.
Using the right marketing methods, reaching the right target audience, interacting with fans, improving and building more quality content.
Learning more and more throughout the process is one of the biggest ways you can increase and improve your revenue because you have to prove everything and not just say it, and I always lived off that.

Tell us your opinion on self-training and enrolling in an educational institution to study music.
I think it could be helpful, I have nothing against it because at the end of the day you are gaining knowledge on something you want to do in life whether you learn on your own or you go to school for it.
I think everyone must do whatever it takes to make that dream something already accomplishable if it is a dream for one to accomplish.

Go on at length on what it takes to write a hit song.
I think it takes a lot of discipline, focus, passion and it takes a lot of motivation throughout the whole process like when you are working on a new song and you start to feel like “this a hit” – take more time on making it the hit you know it got the potential to be.
Don’t try to get it done fast, focus on every single aspect of the song in order to make it last because music nowadays is in and out, and you can have a hit song for a few weeks or a few months then it’s just a song again; so targeting the hit song is one of the best ways to have your music last a little bit longer in this industry.

State your artist’s name and elaborate on it.
Young Taee came up when my mom used to call me Tae, a nickname I was raised with growing up and at the time listening to YMCMB; I defined myself as “Young Taee” inspired by some of the best in Hip Hop today (Lil Wayne, Drake, etc.)…

State the title of the song and the meaning.
“The Baddest” came up from me seeing a beautiful woman but she was alone most of the day and I didn’t know why she didn’t interact with anyone so I walked up to talk to her on why she was not talking to anyone and it turned out she has been through a lot and I wanted to help her through it by uplifting her with a song and that is how the song came up.

State the title of the album and the reason for choosing the title.
The title of the album “Patience” came up from my understanding that in everything you do in the music industry you must have patience.
I came to realize that when you are doing music and everything you do; you need to have patience whether it is releasing, promotion, finishing the song, or whether it’s how long it’s going to take in the studio to get the good music out.
In order to create that masterpiece, you must have patience.
No rushing, it takes commitment and it takes a lot of motivation to get it done.
